First trip Tampico apartments in bay (RIP :( ). Loved these, really spacious and roomy. Room looked out direct over the bay. Great location but dont think you can book these any more. Think are now privately owned? 8/10

Second Trip Encanto Apartments in bay. DO NOT GO HERE  .This was the worst place i have ever stayed. Misrable and rude staff, noisy, full of loud nightmare familys and screaming kids. Room was only cleaned once in two weeks and was like a furnace. The first ever trip to Ibiza i was glad to get home from. 1/10

Tagomago Apartments in bay. Love this place and have been here the last 5 trips. Basic but spotlessly clean. Staff really friendly and helpful, great location overlooks bay and near enough to action without being to noisy. Hotel food although basic really nice 9/10 :D

Stayed in the Jabeque again for 6 days last June (stunning villa for the first four ;) ) and whilst I do think the Jabeque's a good base and excellent value for money, it was still full of families and especially very young children. Personally, I feel a bit uncomfortable walking in having come back from a club when there are loads of mummies and daddies with children just about to head out to the beach and I'm a complete mess. Then there's the noise of children screaming when you're trying to get some shut-eye during the day.

Anyone know of any hotels/apartments (bar The Jet, Es Vive, El Hotel) around Ibiza Town that don't have so much of a family presence? I suppose anywhere that's offered as a package will attract the families, but I'd really prefer somewhere that isn't so 'in your face'.

Anyone stayed in the hotel Pacific since its been upgraded to 3 star? I've read some favorable reviews but theres not a whole lot about the place available on the net.

Staying there in August and just cant wait to get back to Ibiza! Just glad that even though there doesnt look to be a Manumission this year, at least Bar M is still open coz I love that place.

no unfortunately they relocated us last year to the next-door hotel with loadsa frenchspeaking people. hardly any english teenagers which was a blessing! :) but it looked ok. we cud see it from ur balcony

Has any one got anything Positive to say about the Piscis Park having read this thread I am starting to get a bit worried about my trip.

My attitude is that as long as I have somewhere to crash and some where for a shower I will be fine, but I am worried about security.....are the safety deposit boxes safe???

I am more of a beach bum any way and prefer to go find the beaches so I/we wont be spending much time in at the hotel.

Can any one reassure me???

Bella Ibiza - Dirty, worn and smells - absolutley perfect if you don't wanna stay in your room!

Nikolu - as above

Poniente - as above

Laura - as above

can't even remember the other 6 I stayed in!

1st year stayed at some dirt hole in San An, courtesy of club 18-30 as I needed a last minute thing to meet some friends, can't really remember what it was called, something blanca?? Anyway, awful, hot, dirty and full of lairy beer boys! 0.5/10!! :x

Last 2 times have stayed at Mar y Playa in Figueretes, and provisionally booked it for this year. Nice enough, and good location, daily maid service etc. Considering we don't spend much time in the apartment, they are good value for money and right on the beach in Figueretes. 10 min walk to Ibiza town and 10-15 mins to bora bora. 7/10 :D

Pisces Park

Im also staying at Pisces Park in August... Ive read some ok reports and some awful ones.... can anyone help?

Thanks!

Hotel Brisa - san an - 8/10

Very clean, friendly staff and good food and drink on offer. This will be my 3rd year at the hotel as i cant see the point in going anywhere else, i know its nice, its in a good location and ive managed to get a good deal again :)

Sirenis Jabeque

I've just got back from 2 weeks staying here. The night we arrived they had booked out our room so at 3am we had to cart out suitcases to a nearby hotel - Tres Carabeles (sp). This hotel is nice - 4 star but not self catering. The pool area has got quite a lot of families but soft beds which is a bonus in my eyes!

After 3 days we had to go back to the Jabeque, dragged the cases back and got our room. Lovely room, nice view of Dalt Vila. The pool area is crap, very basic and scruffy.(really uncomfortable beds lol) The bedroom was towards the back of the apartment and had strange louve windows and had to be THE NOISIEST room I've ever stayed in. The bar down below wasn't a particularly noisy bar but whatever noise there was travelled up the wall and straight into our room.

On the plus side it's a handy location for Space, Bora Bora, Ibiza town etc and the view is great as others have said but just be wary of the double booking crap and the noisy bedrooms.

yeah dont mean to discourage you, and the hotel has been refurbished so it mite be better than it was in 2000 when i came to the island for the first time lol

Hotel Gran Sol - San Antonio gotta give it 10 /10 for the price , big breakfast when you get back from the club all included , clean and a 2 min walk to cafe del mar and cafe mambo ...id go again!:)

Wow, great review! we are booked there from 11.9 to 26.9. Do you know how far it is from club eden or other clubs like pacha, amnesia, privledge etc?

Do you know if they have wireless internet at the hotel?

ANy information about Gran Sol is greatly appricated.

Thanks!

Hi Edgar,
well eden is down by the port which is a 15 min walk tops from the hotel , you go through the "west end" which is where most of the bars are in San Antonio (San miguel varies from 2 euros a pint upwards)
Amnesia , Privalige and Pacha are all taxi rides or Disco bus journeys.
I think Amnesia was 16 Euros
and Pacha about 20 Euros taxi ride from the taxi rank near the port/"west end"
Privilige was on the way to Amnesia so will be about the same (i hope ive remembered these right)
If you go to Pacha you must go into the bar in the Pacha hotel opposite its very stylish , as is the club its self
not sure about wireless though.

I stayed st the Gran Sol last year & will be back this Sept 10th - 18th!
It's great hotel. Nice & quiet but only a stones throw from Kanya & other sunset bars.
No idea about wireless internet but they do have a small area with computers etc.
