shes just too lucky! right on the damn strip! shes a little tired of the lager louts by now but the sunsets in the evening, oh shes indeed very very lucky!

csn any one help. Me and my mates stayed in an awful hotel in 2001. Our room got broke into as did at least 2 couples as we were chatting to them.
It was in the road parallell to Central City Hotel kind of behind it. It had a 24 hour bar but the staff were useless and apparently the CCTV wasn't working and nobody noticed the people breaking into rooms. It had also been happening on an almost daily basis throughout the season.
It had a small pool and a massive TV in reception.
Help please. wnat to try and avoid it this year as I'm going back but can't remember the name.

im staying in Central City this year, i keep hearing bout break ins in this hotel and the surrounding ones!! I hope it will be ok! i requested a high floor room to help avoid this but getting more worried as the days go by!!
I always lock everything in the safe but fair to say i'd be v pissed off if someone walks past reception and gets into my room!!
got to say security in ibiza hotels aint always great, every hotel i have ever stayed in (except palm garden in PDB) doesnt check who you are when you go to reception and ask for a key to room number x.
i have stayed in Jet Apartments, Palm Garden (next to Somny, think its called Diva now) both in PDB and i have stayed in Ibizamar in San An Bay and Poniente twice in San An.
Only Palm Garden (who by the way had a 50 yr old english man as night security, he was a brilliant bloke who had been out there since the 70's but i doubt he was very capable of handling security!!) checked our passports when asking for our room key at reception each night.
Here's hoping (but not expecting) Central City is ok!!

stayed in Central City in 05 and have to say it was a welcome surprise. I had heard bad stories about it before flying out but all i found was a friendly and very lively atmosphere and had heard no reports of stealing whilst i was there. So long as you are expecting a loud and lively holiday then you should be in for an excellent time at central city.

the bahia is nice,great location, on the promenade between the west end and the bayand nice rooms., but I am an owls fan !!! whaT DO i KNOW...
Was a brilliant hotel the Yr Ministry of Sound owned it!! Had DJs on by the pool all day and then turned it up at night and had a mini with soundsystem driving around. Sadly another failed commercial venture!!!

ill let u off piggy!! thanks for the info im looking forward to it now, is it far from the west end??? I heard something about the eden pre parties being held there this year also, might be fun!
i had to walk past the bahia everyday when i stayed at ibizamar
got to say the hotel looked awesome and the location is great
you get a fantastic view of the bay from the pool area and its a 2 min walk to bar m and the san an clubs!
was going to stay there a couple of years back but it was just out of budget at the time!
it looks like a top hotel, and if your room is front facing it would be awesome, they have enormous balconies and great views

we stayed there last year ans had a very good time..the hotel is not the best, but we didnt have any problems. safes are at reception so there is a very little chance of the safe being broken into..
we enjoyed it that much that were staying their again this year!!

i am SO jealous!!
(i went there last year............got a top deal so thats why not goin there this year..bit more expensive!
you will love it, its really clean, music by the pool all day, perfect location, staff are friendly....what more cud u ask for really??

Gran Sol - San Antonio
I have only been once and stayed in the gran Sol in San Antonio , it is reasonably priced and clean and does a huge buffet breakfast for when you get in ...in the morning lol, its fully air con'd and a very short walk from the sunset bars, so good im going there again this year!

Why can't I remember any names of where I have stayed?
There was a place just off the westend where our view was a wall!
There was City Central, near the beach bars and that place is just a hole and the last time I went it was somewhere in the bay, up a hill is all I can remember.
God my brain cells have had some damage!

sounds quality im really looking forward to it now. we fly out on the 4th July so 2 weeks tomorow (not that im counting!) was pretty expensive but we are on the top floor so you could say weve got the penthouse!! well thats what we are saying to everyone anyway

marvel- great pool rooms not bad 7-10. casa maria- great place friendly staff best pizzas in ibiza. 8-10 tampico not bad can't really remember that holiday.6-10? marina playa- great place comfiest beds in ibiza. 8-10 hotel brisa- like a none stop party hotel. loved it. 8-10 palmyra- another holiday that was a bit of a blur tink it was ok though. 6-10? piscis park- a room the size of me shed with 3 beds in it. what a hole. 1-10 going back to casa maria this year. they are the best pizzas in ibiza honestly.

2000 - Did the Paraiso with a bunch of mates as a pre-stag night and it was just what was required, little action before midday around the pool, quality cafe next door...... 7 - 10
2001 - Hotel on the front in San An Bay, think same group as Paraiso but what a difference.... Like staying in Borstal (or Halls of residence if your a student) filthy dirty, **** pool, just overall horrendous..... Went with Wife and Friends which didn't work as well as i thought it should.... 1 -10
2002 - I think? To celebrate my divorce!! Stayed at the Bahia, First night the sounds starte up from the DJ around the pool, looked out and recognised him as a mate from lower school (right touch)...... Had the premier of Fast and Furious one night on a big screen with DJ Gee playing after in the bar.... 24 Hour bar fully abused and when party died down with people filing off to go clubbing me and mates set up camp behind the decks (tunes supplied thanks to Mega Music) playing to ourselves getting wasted.... Then for some reason everyone staying at the hotel arrived back on mass and it proper kicked off party style on every floor...... 10 -10
2003 - Back to paraiso as Ministry not in Bahia anymore..... This time round me and just one mate..... Security over the top with regards to noise etc. but at the same time felt very safe, first time there we had complete strangers and non-guests wandering around the halls.....
