The Sun said:CITY fatcats taunted G20 protesters with £10 notes today as thousands descended on London’s financial heartland.
Bankers leaning out of office windows waved at demonstrators on the streets below, who responded with jeers and shouts.
Tens of thousands of protesters set off on marches through the heart of London for a series of protests this morning.
well kids, I have just got back from Liverpool Street (where the above pic was taken) and despite my best efforts , it hasn't kicked off yet (joke!).
Lots and lots and lots of police pulling stern faces and protesters of all ages singing and shouting. Peaceful protest at it's finest. Lots of disruption but we await our first Starbucks casualty.
How pathetic of those city workers waving money. Have they no originality?

so true.
Just got back from Bank, all four demos have converged.
A few sound systems, a few good natured people, lots of pushing and not much space.
...and then there's the anarchist flags, special brew and angry shouting - the mood has somewhat darkened since Russ's post!
It's beginning to get ugly and three lines of police are closing in at each road leading away from bank to try and contain people. They're being very forceful - I got shoved by a policeman on the way out for no apparent reason.
Definitely the right time to leave because it's clearly going to kick off.
It's like going back to the 80s but with more yuppies and less punk (everyone has the modern day fileofax/iphone after all eh?).
