Your opinion or review on Ushuaia?

Ibiza will hopefully go out of EDM fashion sooner rather than later

I think big room is slowly running out acts like dimitri Vegas and like mike still pull in big crowds for it but people are starting to see its drop after drop all the time I like all genres apart from dubstep but big room is getting really boring these days

EDM or big room or however you like to call it might slowly run out (I'm not sure if I agree on this though), but there will be another very commercial style coming up after that and taking its place. it's what happened when trance started dying down and EDM took over, just that at the same time, the USA finally properly discovered electronic dance music.

and whatever that commercial style of dance music will be, it'll probably fit ushuaïa just as well as EDM does now. ushuaïa is simply perfect for that - a festival-like set up open air place and very very attractive to ibiza newbies.

Not sure the next generation of music will be to my taste but I agree 100% with what you say.

We're in a total different place now and different generations coming through who have very different likes to previous generations.

As long as we all know how to party and socialise together properly, we will be having fun and enjoyment for years to come in Ibiza - in Ushuaia or otherwise.

Stivi were you lucky enough to be going to Ibiza when trance was in its prime? Always wanted to go when you had songs like cafe deal mar etc

not the cafe del mar years sadly (I did listen to that stuff, but only started going to ibiza later), but yeah, my very first amnesia visit featured both PvD and tiesto at the height of their careers really.

memories. and a good classics party every now and then if you want that.

in almost every music style there are sub-styles that have their time. grunge had its time in rock, trance had its time in electronic - just to name two really, but there are so many more. I'm not saying trance is not existent and I also don't think it'll ever completely go away, but I really don't think it'll ever come back to have the same power it once had.

What year was it you seen Pvd and tiesto in amnesia? Would love to be in Ibiza when the trance anthems were new and that time in Ibiza without less red tape
