Has anyone that is working from home been tempted to think about getting a room out there for a month or two? I've seen people advertising rooms with flexible contracts due to the situation and i'm genuinely tempted to look at going out and living for a bit. If Brits are allowed in from the start of July i could do 2 months whilst being paid my full wage ?. Dreaming

I guess the only problem i have is i would be paying £850 a month to not live in my current place here?

It all sounds good until you have to put all of the plans together, however if a mate was gonna join me i'd do it straight away

A couple of my friends are looking to do this. I think it’s a great idea!

Coincidentally talking about this today, but maybe doing it for May next year. 4/5 of us, nice villa type place, spread the cost and can all happily work from “home”. Would be amazing and expensive but mostly amazing

I know 2 people doing this.. rent is cheaper and weather is better...

Ive been thinking about this incredibly hard. I’m WFH for the rest of the year most likely. Why not do a month on the island??

Would love it but I think i'd want to be alone or with a mate as if you end up in a worker's place then you will look like a twat having to work through the day ?
 
We've been thinking of doing this too. Already have flights booked on 3rd July for 2 week holiday - then we'd push our return flight by a few weeks so we get 6 weeks out there. Our only blocker at the moment is Easyjet and others are pushing their flight schedule back so it's unlikely our flight will go - it looks like the start of August when things will move again.

Spain at the moment are being difficult with UK citizens entering the country...hopefully that will relax over the coming weeks.
 
we should of fallen in line with the rest of the world, that week or so window has left a few countries to feel similar concern I don't even know if Greece have eased up on us yet have they?
