I’ve got a massive mullet at the minute!

Got so many options for a new hairstyle now ?‍♂️
Turkish barbers seem to be the go to quarentino cut of choice for yous up tyneside, seen a few of my wallsend pals having them round too.. I'm lucky my lass took a barbering course when she went into hairdressing so ive been walking around with a full dome of hater vision throughout lockdown

Haha yes the West Rd is a very diverse place.

No chance I’d let my missus cut my hair, she’s as blind as a bat and has as much hand-to-eye coordination as someone having a fit.

She scraped her car on the garden wall a few months ago. Was driving it onto the driveway in the dark with no lights on and had also left her driving glasses in the house ?

She’s good at cooking though :D?

aha no light and no sight.. bad combo

could be worse, the wife once drove straight into a stationary car in a multi story car park (it was Sunday and literally the only car on the whole level)

Pacha.com cancels all the events for July. Also facebook events like music on. Until a few days ago it had tickets on sale for the whole July.
So following website the first party now is schedule to 1st August Masquerade, 2nd August Solomun, 6th music on.
This is not good news for nightclubbers but also shows that Pacha is following day by day the situation and changing plans so I think they have the idea to open but seems, due lasts news, they will prefer to wait more, august could mean to start with less restrictions, less social pressure, and have an entire month of July to check how the tourism works, how some little music bars and nightclubs start to open, maybe also some big nightclub in mainland opens, how firsts beach-clubs opens and works... etc etc..

Following last news, Armengol will not allow nightclubs to open until 22th June but from that date she should to start the planned de-escalation for this type of business. which is still unknown or unclear and more news will come out, but the last news are not good for these businesses...
Some worse scenario in Baleares and regions who restrict nightclubs could be ...
June 22th - 1/3 capacity with heavy restrictions about no dance allowed or no dancefloor.
15 days later on 6th July some kind of permissiveness provably 2/3 and dancefloor allowed with restrictions of 2m distance and masks

As we see during last months, all can change in a few hours so let's see..

they say clubs allowed to open next monday but without dancefloors (opposite to what expected)so they decided not to open clubs
A new concept with big clubs opened and all people sat around tables and moving their head to the music?
Balears dice "no" a las discotecas
Who really decides from now are the regional governments, in the Balearic Islands have decided to keep closed nightclubs until June 22.

I personally don't see people sitting on individual chairs and moving their heads, television has already shown us other images that finally don't happen. But maybe yes if it's like you say, some little-med nightclubs are provably thinking on fill or extend the tables on the dance floor. With a limited space and designed for groups of 5 to 10 people, it could be a start, but I don't see it for much time, and maybe more possible to see in the peninsula, and also in a certain kind of nightclub. In Ibiza or in big clubs with a dance culture, I don't think it would work.
It's only a matter of time, now we can already eat inside restaurants, so we will see people dancing on dance floors again.

every country that opens closes again...
this is a never ending loop.

lets hope that the summer will kill the virus.

not really analogous but reminded of Mayor Guiliani banning dancing in NY clubs a few years back - the notorious "cabaret law" - am guessing the similarities end there!

hmm...

So has anyone seen the story that a socially distanced rave was allowed to take place somewhere near Nottingham? It was outdoor so it was probably completely safe but i don't understand how something that so clearly breaks the rules was allowed
. The council gave them permission in advance and when the police arrived they showed the documents so were allowed to continue, apparently social distancing was being adhered to.

I have no worries that this happening isn't really a problem it's just how did they get away with something that is clearly not in keeping with the guidelines, the council could have easily said no and i doubt the party organiser would have even contested it.

I think it's now safe to think that outdoor events are about as safe as you can get now.. Fingers crossed for some outdoor events to be allow on the island to start with

Certainly bodes well for the future, if it is true ?

the german readers on here might have seen that kiesgrube (quite a well-known summer outdoor venue in germany) is opening this coming sunday - with a seated open air.

I've just seen pacha barcelona does the same this coming saturday, it's outdoor, 5pm-3am, with a table reservation only which guarantees safety distances for everyone.

very curious to see those rules for 'new normal' soon, likely tomorrow or wednesday, but the above format might indeed be the only formula for clubs to open 'safely' this summer. even if it saddens me, I wouldn't be surprised if they kept dancefloors prohibited (or indeed with marked spots only) this summer.

I'll soon tell more about the whole subject in that opinion piece I mentioned the other day.
