So my friend has messaged me and said he may postpone Ibiza until next year because of the new FCO advice:(. I'm not sure how any of it really applies to him really and there is a good chance it will be changed beforehand but it's not good news to hear.

I will plan to go it alone as i should have people i can meet there, let's hope no more bad news!

Look at that new bar - no license for sun beds or whatever so they cover it up in police tape. Hardly appealing to tourists is it
They shouldn’t have opened it in the first place without the license, so they raided it and closed it down. What are they supposed to do .....cover it in fairly dust and pretty wrapping paper ?

They are sending a message.

Is it just me or has there been a lack of updates at all really in Ibiza for a while now? Obviously i was hoping for things to be released eventually but i'm assuming they're pretty much going to stick with how it is from now. It's too late really for anything to change before i go on 27th but it does seem to have gone quiet on all fronts.

Yes it has gone quite, cova Santa or heart have not announced if they will Close this year

How likely is it that they will remove the balaerics form the UK quarantine list by September? Due to fly out sep 3rd... we obv can’t go if we have to quarantine because of work etc... but we stand to lose a lot of money if we can’t ?

its a guessing game right now, personally think there is a good chance but that's just one mans opinion

I'm hopeful. We can postpone our villa to 10 days beforehand, so that's our cut off for giving up and not going.

Ibiza is our last planned thing for 2020. After that, there's no definite plans for the rest of the year.

we have booked on free cancellation for start of Oct, im pretty hopful also but still not booking flights till last minute ..maybe even 48 hours before hand just to be sure.. good luck with it mate we are busting to get over now, we have a few other things to keep us going till then though just wishing no more countries are added to the red list

i’m still hopeful that i will be across for my usual October trip this year ??

My july trip that was cancelled this year, instead of getting a refund, i moved to next july so that’s taken care off ??

looking at next October though , i’m getting quoted 880 for flights with jet2 which is roughly 100% increase ?

it’s a hard one as the aviation are trying to recover but with increases like this, it will put off a lot of customers which might go elsewhere

Ryan air prices are okay mind 330 which is to be expected....

I hope so. Annoyingly off there end of this month, the hotel we booked (and really like) was meant to open 1st August but now delayed until 28th August. We fly on the 30th but not filled with hope unless this decision gives them more confidence to open. Especially as they are rebooking people into a 'family' hotel that is about half the price

I've agreed with the missus that our trip in September is purely down to whether the flights get cancelled or not. I reckon the 14 day self-isolation thing will be gone by then....so just keeping a watchful eye on my inbox from Easyjet and Iberia!
Myself my mrs and our friends have said the same

I’d say they’ll have to include the Balearics in this aswell
Changing all the time isn't it, things could be worse by September, could be better. I think they will have a hard job justifying the 14-day isolation much longer if no new cases appear in Ibiza! Or very few...
