Heard Peter Stringfellow is involved with Ushuaia in creating the new concept. I am quite excited by it all to be honest.
have to admit first time in london (back in the day) i loved that "stringfellows"-neon -sign o_O:twisted:

Probably be full of Eurotrash wiggling to trashy tunes. Matutes must be rubbing his hands together thinking about all the extra millions he can relieve them all of

Andrea Olivia Interview:

"It’s such a historic club and it will remain that way in the memories of people. Life in Ibiza will carry on and the new club will be something fresh. It’s going to be avant-garde and forward thinking and so whilst the old Space will surely stay in everybody’s hearts, the new place will definitely blow everybody´s minds"

What? You mean it's not going to be a bingo hall??

The only good thing about Abel Matutes,(for me) is that he said no to Fc Barcelona and yes
my team RCD Espanyol where he was a professional footballer

This guy is part of the ushuaia group so his opinion is always going to be positive even
Of it turned into ushuaia mini golf

Maybe Ushuaia will surprise everyone and transform Space into something great. Not sure if they can end their love affair with LED screens and champagne though...

My biggest wish für SPACE Ibiza -> a quality Deep/Tech/Techno Club - a no EDM zone - for pure house addicts - and a bombastic line up every day
And for the Ushu Group: ....if they start at midnight (when ushuaia stage would close) -> they would have a full club and the maximum output

I can see this getting a bit Disney'fied between Ushuaia/tower/HRH/and Whatever Space will be

Combo pack tickets, multi 'park' access, drinks packages, includes pizza slice from terrace!

'Sorry sir your ticket is only for Ushuaia and Space main room, your not allowed in the premier etage!'
i´m afraid exactly crap like this IS the future of this once great area ...

For us across the pond Space and Carl Cox going away is a big deal too! I booked a trip to Ibiza this season just to so I could attend Music is Revolution before its gone. Hope to see some of you at the opening.

Regarding the Vegas/Miami bashing... Yes Vegas is 100% mainstream EDM with loads of VIP. Miami you can get the best of both worlds. Super VIP experience (lame) as well as the good ole down and dirty. I just came back from Ultra/MMW/WMC and it was great. Space Miami MMW closing party went for a solid 30 hours nonstop (mind you by that point they had an entire week of techno parties ranging from 12 to 24 hours). Tixs went from as low as $35 to $80 at the door. No dress code and eventually free cover once the event was halfway through. It was beautiful.

Im just glad that Edm miami vibe is finally going tits up,lets hope that high roller thing does the same in ibiza, back to basics for me.

Credible or Not ?

Following on from being crowned the world’s number one nightclub in the DJ Mag Top 100 Clubs poll yesterday, Space Ibiza have this morning announced that they will reopen in a new venue in San Antonio in 2017.

The Playa d’en Bossa clubbing institution announced last year that the lease on the venue runs out in 2016 and that sadly this year would be their last.

However the news that comes this morning clearly states that the Space Ibiza show will indeed go on and a suitable venue has been secured in recent weeks.

“We are delighted to be able to finally share the news with you all.” Said Space Owner, Pepe Roselló earlier today.

“We have been planning this in the background for close to two years now and I’m over the moon to confirm Space will be moving to my own hometown of San Antonio.”

“The perfect new location has been found. Extremely central, amazing sunset views and you can finally dance underneath the stars again! Yes, you have guessed it, we have bought the Kiosk!”

The Kiosk have confirmed they will indeed open as usual in 2016 for one final goodbye season, before possibly moving to Playa D’en Bossa, and they are currently in talks to take over the building currently in use by Space.

Great news for the island. You heard it here first.
