I take it 'Theatre' room will have its own royal balcony?... ;)

Going all out for production in 'the theatre' then but do you know whether 'the club' room will be kept quite minimal in comparison?
 
Well since there's no more sunset terrace or...El salon I think, then both of these rooms will be bigger than what main room space and terrace used to be?

Theatre room seems exciting! Cool that it seems like a full out visual room

Hmm.. so they made the club bigger which covers that area?

Totally out of box idea...But maybe they'll have video DJs that change images and movie clips on maybe some screens they have in the theatre or club area with the music from the DJ? This is just purely out of my own wish for a new type of experience. I feel this will be a very futuristic club and will be a game changer

the rooms won't be bigger. the 'theatre' (what used to be the discoteca) might have a bigger feel than before. the 'club' (what used to be the terraza) will actually be a tiny little smaller if I'm not mistaken.

Don't care what they do to the place I will never go there.

Even my wife who likes dance music but is not exactly a nut about it says that why would you want to go back to a place that has great memories and was great at what they did.

She thinks Matutes has a cheek

You'd go back because you don't know what the future may hold and if I'm honest I think that is very narrow minded to say you'll never go back. What would you say if lets say in 30 years time Hi has an even bigger legacy than Space does now? I'm not for one minute saying this will happen but no one can predict the future so why rule out ever going to a venue because of the past?

Sure Space was amazing and I may not even get round to going Hi this year but I would definitely like it give it a try and see what they are doing to the place before totally writing it off!

Yes I have often been called narrow minded in life.

Something due to the fact I was an athlete.

But I know I won't like the bells and whistles approach, I know I won't like the djs and I know I won't want to dampen my memories.

I am also loyal. I am not one of these people that say I will never go and change my mind like lots of people who say things just to go along with the gang.

I hate the matutes mafia.

Why is it they allowed to have massive daytime parties and the others just get the big thumb pressed down hard.

You're not the only one who won't be going mate. I can find other places to go without including "old Space" in the plans.
I've got no real desire to head over to Playa Den Begas either, apart from Clockwork on the beach.

Okay then so what would you do if in a couple years time artists you really love come in with their residencies and take away all the bells and whistles and put on a stripped back show?

Currently the artists are not completely my cup of tea either but Id still like to see what its all about and then in the future see how the club evolves and who they bring in in future years.

As stivi said what would you do if Cox come back with a residency, still not go?

There is no point being bitter towards a group who are putting on parties! They are aloud so good on em, don't take it out on them because the authorities wont allow others to do it. And by the way I'm not a big fan of Ushuaia myself nor a big fan of anything at Hi this year I'm just saying that in 5 years time it could all be different.
 
just to clarify - I have my reservations too. have never made a secret about that. but I do think there are people that would continue to go there *IF* certain artists would still play there.
