ah we shall see - maybe they'll still use it, who knows? it's honestly a lot of rumors at the moment and not much factual info. I guess we'll only really know on opening party night!
 
stivi was talking about 'musical horizon to play a different style' and I think that's why Guetta pulls it off with two nights. Guetta is 40+ with a musical carreer spanning various decades, starting with french house in small clubs and who can actually dj.

Garrix is a kid who was blown directly onto the festival mainstage by modern hype. Can't see him varying his approach in a club like Hi. But may not need to, to make it a success.
 
guetta is turning 50 this year btw

of all the edm artists, he's the one I still have a tiny little respect for - because of his early years. his sets at space were actually quite decent (up to 2006/7, then he stopped it anyway)

I get where you're coming from.

In terms of his output, its Pop Music to me and I respect Pop Music a lot. I'm not drunk here (honestly) but songs like 'when love takes over' will be played in 50+ years as early 00s Pop. 90% of the trash that SHM put out will be in the scrap bin.

Wouldn't agree with the Cox part either... He was headlining all over the world and being voted the No. 1 DJ in the world (if that matters to anyone these days) long before his Space residency began...

Probably need it. It's bad enough when ushuaia kicks out and peeps go for taxies/bus. Gonna be worse with more of them trying to cross the road :eek:

An underpass would be ideal, no steps or few steps compared to overpass which would need to be a lot higher for clearance for trucks/buses... Although that wouldn't flood :D
 
Garrix 2 days a week is definitely a surprise, any body 2 days a week would be a surprise. But they usually know what they are doing so it will probably work (until the kid gets burnt out avicci style)

Think the same....cox was massive before he'd his own night at space, hence why they give him his own night. Sven was also massive b4 amnesia give him the cocoon residency......alex p n brandon block made the space terrace which in turn give the club legendary status the world over from 94
