McRackin, how come I've never actually ever seen a photo of yourself? Just curious to see if you have a camera strapped to your head in a 'soldier on a night mission' type scenario?

600 Pay To Park Zones In Sant Antoni.
By June the Council in Sant Antoni agreed this week to have 600 blue pay to park zones in operation in the town. These will be located in the central streets in the area bordered by the fountain promenade, the Calle Cervantes street, the church, the Clots Mares Market, the Calle Madrid street & the Ramon Cajal street. Extra free car parking spaces in several new parking lots, which will be created in outskirts of the town, will be available for workers & residents who do not want to pay to park.

Sant Antoni Promotes Another Side!
A new promotional video is been made at the moment for Sant Antoni which will highlight the sports facilities, cultural facilities & the beautiful natural environment that the town & surrounding area has to offer tourists. Edited in all the most important languages, the video will be accompanied by an information booklet & will be distributed to tour companies, hotels, tourist information offices & given away at trade fares. The idea is to combat the concept of Sant Antoni only as a young people's night time resort & make potential tourists aware of all that the town has to offer.

THE BLUE-RINSE EURO!!
EXCELLENT IDEA BY THE COUNCIL,NEVER SELL YOURSELF SHORT!.ive been all along the costas in the winter,where i see many elderly people with money to spend.my mothers off to estopona next week for 8 weeks,she wont go to ibiza,coz she thinks its full of uk lager louts.....i said.but mother dear.they will only be there in the summer.her reply.....yes maybe so......its for the younguns isnt it!.the beer boys are a big prob in blighting ibizas image,but what can you do? make anywhere as unattractive as possible for them,make places family friendly,serve food......in general.....your unruly behaviour wont be accepted here.zero tolerance on crime.mayor rudolpk gualliani step forward.clubbers and the blue-rinse brigade......what a peacefull thought.i think people in the uk are very aware that ibiza is trying to change its image,why dosent the tourist board ask a few travel writers out to review the proposed changes.

The 18-30 bar crawl scene has been going for many years, and has been policed extremly well by the local police force, and most Holiday Reps realise they have some responsibility for the behaviour / safety of their guests, and other holiday makers. As we know the local authority don't sit on their laurels and are installing CCTV for everyone's safety.
Based on pure economics, this has been one of the back bones of the tourist industry, and many of these booze tourists have returned older and wiser when they discovered, like so many of us that there is something special about this isle. Put it down to "excesses of youth", and didn't we all do it. So don't be so dismissive of something that you may have out grown of, but there are always further generations to come. Long may it continue.

Pantaleoni, the Councillor in charge of law & order in Sant Antoni., this week promised that neither he nor any of the local police would tolerate "pub-crawls" this summer organised by certain bars & tour companies. As it is not technically against the law to host a "pub-crawls" in a bar, Pantaleoni said that those establishments that insisted in trying to continue with this practice would be persecuted by the police & tourist authorities who would try & find other infringements to penalise the bar in question until they desisted in hosting tour company "pub-crawls". Panteleoni said he had hosted "pub-crawls" in his own bars up until last summer but that they would be stopping just the same as all the other bars will have to. At the end of the day if the bars did not respect the idea of abandoning "pub-crawls" then Pantaleoni would consider introducing specific by laws to make them illegal within the borough.

I'm missing the relevance of a bar crawl being organised?
If there is 20 blokes (friends) together going from bar to bar what difference does it make if the have an 18-30 rep with them or not?
I fear dreadful consequences for the clubbers:
the organised clans of 18-30's beer ****'s will be arriving at the clubs that are at the moment safe from them driven on a coach and escorted by their reps...
And NOT just privilege!
