My wife thinks it probably just fell out when I opened the door but I refute that entirely.

My girlfriends iPhone was taken out of a closed bag when we walked from the Goleta to Dunes bar in Pdb last week. There were 4 of us walking in a group and we didn't notice a thing so it was done quickly and professionally... luckily they left a purse with 300 euros in cash, 2 VIP cream tickets and my wallet with all the credit cards so they obviously aren't that clever, w**kers.

Did they close the bag again nicely after removing the iPhone ?

Nope zip was open and popper undone. When I was in the police station next day there were 4 people who exactly the same thing had happened to. She called me from hotel lobby when I was upstairs to ask me to grab her lippy from bathroom and when I gave it to her she put it in the bag and zipped it up.

DMS, did you see the person who took the phone? Were you jostled/pushed or anything?

Nope we didn't notice a thing it was very strange

Or she could of dropped it? For goodness sake you do see some sh1te on here at times.

Dropped it from a closed bag? How does that work then Einstein?

If there are four of you walking and no one saw a thing while some amazing David blane style street magician managed to open the zip on your bag and steal only a phone then I dispair!
Not meaning to cause offence I just find it highly unbelievable, and personally think it is more likely a mistake has been made and the phone has fallen out somewhere. Much more realistic in my opinion. But it is easy to blame the pesky foreign tea leafs cause she couldn't possibly of made a mistake and lost it right?

I don't give a flying f**k what you think is believable. I saw the phone in her bag when we were in the lobby of our hotel and i saw her zip it up and then we walked from the hotel to a bar where we discovered the bag had been opened and the phone was gone. When i was in the little police portacabin across from Jet the next day there were 4 people in there who had exactly the same complaint as me so i am 100% positive that it was stolen and you are the one who is talking uninformed sh1te. Oh and i didn't mention pesky foreign tea leafs either you did that all by yourself
