Police arrest man for robbing a South Korean tourist effects valued at 3,800 euros

On Sunday 26th plainclothes Public Security Brigade of the National Police of the local police
station in Eivissa, arrested "in flagrante" with N. D. 42, Algerian, while subtracting a bag
containing effects and money worth over € 3,800, which was carrying a South Korean tourist
nationality sentadada was accompanied by a group of the same nationality
as just arrived by boat.

The arrest was due to a device mounted by plainclothes Public Security Brigade of Eivissa,
aimed at prevention of shoplifting, in the vicinity of the harbor of Formentera located in Port Vila.

The detainee had been arrested thirteen times,
using several different identities,
and also was charged with six offenses of theft committed in this month and in the same area.

They also found the screwdriver and gloves he used to force the doors.

It is the third time he was arrested in San Antonio this summer.

Much petty theft in Playa d'en Bossa. Was having a little kip in the car in Space car park the morning after Amnesia (boot was carelessly left unlocked) .. and woke up as I heard rustling in the boot. Caught a woman, probably early '40s red-handed rifling my rucksack, which she dumped on the floor in a panic but looked too twatted to run away. Fortunately had nothing in it worth nicking.

Confronted her and usual sob story of having been in Ibiza for a month, run out of money, etc etc. So I gave her a ripe banana :lol: ... when she started eating it I took pity and gave her 5 Euros ... far too soft for my own good sometimes :roll:
 
Friends girlfriend and friend mugged last night near the egg after getting off the bus back from Sankeys :( smack to the head but managed to only snap the strap on her bag not take it.
 
Last year I had a pair of raybans knicked from bora bora beach on a towel beside my mate. Lesson learned, I'll never ask her to watch anything again! :lol:

2007 we had our villa broken into on our last night, clothes, bags, electrical equipment, my apple mac as knicked (I know I shouldn't have brought it but I was writing music at the time and got some good inspiration over there), police didn't bother their asses to even show up despite about 20 hours of phone calls. Useless ****ers.
 
hubby got his wallet taken first day on the island, a small in height spanish asked if we wanted charlie, we said no.he then pretended to be a gay guy making a pass at hubby by rubbing his leg against my hubby,s bits, and while he waas doing it he managed to remove the wallet, we didnt realise at first till he shouted have you lost something and threw the wallet to us, but then ran off as we discovered he,d removed the 80 euros from the wallet, this was in back streets of san antonio as we left the west end
we werent drunk, we had only gone out for a walk.as we arrived at 4am and needed a walk before bed, so NO alcohol involved at all, just 2 very tired people so beware

They steal a watch from 80,000 euros after stopping at a roadside
The assailant fled through another individual who was waiting in a 'scooter'

A famous nightlife entrepreneur Sant Antoni suffered late on Sunday the violent assault
of an individual who managed sustraerle the expensive watch he wore for years
on his wrist: a Rolex Daytona made with gold and diamonds worth about 80,000 euros,
as contained in the complaint filed with the Civil Guard for robbery with violence and intimidation.

The attack occurred on the highway of Sant Antoni, at the height of Hipercentro,
taking advantage of the victim had stopped to try to retrieve some papers
that had dismissed the wind out of the convertible he was driving (a Ferrari F-483 Spyder).

As recounted in his complaint, as he toured the gutter looking for any of the documents,
the victim found a guy who did not pay much attention until he saw it coming.
By going to ask him about his intentions, the individual fell on the employer
and hit him repeatedly while he resisted the robbery.

The assailant, tall, slim build, fled with their loot thanks to an accomplice waiting for him
"a few meters" at the wheel of a scooter type motorcycle, following the story of the victim.

The employer was unable to provide many details of this second involved,
due to the distance and nerves suffered by the assault, as he admits,
but a testimony of what happened has provided clues that may be key to clarify
responsibility for the theft.
This is another driver who stopped near the car of the victim and the assailants,
and was interested in what happened immediately after the fact .
