purse-snatchers in san antonio!!

i´ll snatch kimajy´s purse AND HIS CAMERA the second he falls asleep at the beach

Same in santa eulalia a women was mugged and her husband gave chase and tripped - still in Hospital.

A place can get a bad reputation very quickly if not step on very quickly

That would be a very rare occurrence in Santa Eulalia. Last year a few purses were snatched and armed police surrounded the town blocking off all roads in and out and arrested the perpetrator within hours. Don't think for a minute that the police here don't take street crime seriously. The livelihood of Ibiza depends on tourism and consequently tourist related crimes are given a high priority. Anywhere in Ibiza is a lot safer than any British town.... or village for that matter.

Here here, where I live in Nottingham it gets worse. 5 shootings in 5 weeks within a 2 mile radious of my house and I don't live in a ghetto
Stabbings becoming the common theme and no longer at night but in broad daylight:evil:
Only this Sunday gone a young lad was stabbed in broad day light, last year down my road a lad walking his baby down the road on a Sunday afternoon and the night before someone shot dead at the local pub 1 min away from the stabbing hours later.
Ibiza is not perfect 24/7 but compared to where I live it's paradise

There's far less crime in Ibiza than Barcelona... and way less than in most of the UK.

This is true in more than one respect!!

Splutters out Horlicks ....

i´ll snatch kimajy´s purse AND HIS CAMERA the second he falls asleep at the beach

Being a man of simple needs, I never carry money (or a purse ) to the beach, Icey ... and you may have more luck nicking my snorkel and dive mask than my camera .. which is always buried somewhere safe when I'm not actively using it :p:lol::lol:.

^^ so can't they just deport him ? When I lived in Africa if you were involved in any trouble as a non-national you were marched out of the country with no more than 20k of luggage and the clothes you stood up in ... with no trial or right of appeal :!:

Warning

An airport employee has warned that he has spotted a pair of young Moroccans
who are stealing from tourists when they are in transit in the parking lot in front of the terminal.

They take advantage of the confusion as people stow their luggage
and tend to take their eyes off some of their belongings.

The employee works in the area of the car park and has seen the pair using motorbikes
as get-away vehicles, commenting that they are very well organized.

Whilst you are Spanish-based and therefore not subject to UK press complaints rules, as an English language newspaper, I thought I"d draw your attention to the UK Press Complaints Commission editorial rules regarding the use of racial descriptions in the reporting of crimes.
Your constant references to suspects" "North African" or "Moroccan" origins is in my view, at worst, racist, and at the very least, unnecessary.
This is what the UK Press Complaints Commission has to say about this kind of reporting.
Kind regards,
Jules O"Riordan

Are you for real? Never heard the term north African being labelled racist lol why is it such an issue? Why are you so sensitive about it? It's a Spanish newspaper they have their ways and from what I can see there is no racism there

the stupidity of these pseudo-politically-"correct" twats is mindblowing :spank:

sure it´s way better not to name the nationalities of all these criminal subjects
which invaded ibiza within the last years -
so that people might think the ibizencos are a bunch of criminals ?!?

most of the crime - from purse-snatchers to villa-robberies - is IMPORTED,
and almost always the same nationalities are involved ...
so why the F not name names ???
