Okay, maybe you're right. Having an opinion doesn't make me misinformed I wasn't there obviously, in my opinion you and others should be more vigilant and your case(among others as you've pointed out) proves that. It is a shame but it happens all over the world.
 
we had a bag of potatoes and some milk tray stolen from our open top jeep recently, i would love to know what the thief cooked for dinner that night, also a Pinocchio toy from a happy meal has gone missing too, :cry:

If you were a 'good' thief-closing the bag after would probably give you more time to get away from the scene of the crime before the owner realised it was gone. It does happen, not just bags either. Scum bags

Was in San antonio one night by the boats bit where them concrete benches are just talking to some girls and spotted someone nicking a girls bag! because we spotted him he threw it and ran off, we didn't think he had taken anything but took her purse!

People really need to be more careful especially when having a sit down and leaving your bag on benches is dark lit places!
 
I got picked pocket one night walking from san atonio town out to near the bay. I walked it alone so people should always stay in groups and you can never be too careful. Its people who rob here give such a great place a bad name at times.
 
Well since getting my phone pick pocketed in June every time i walked alone through san antonio especially at night i kept my hands in my pockets and avoided the areas where they hang about!

I got saved from this by a guy who has just been saved by someone else. We all just need to look out for each other.
 
The sucky sucky's have been wearing gum shields with blades attached to them also.

The girls do be worse. I helped some English lad who came up to me asking me to walk him to his hotel because they were trying to rob him. Kicked off a bit as we walked through them. There was literally like 5 each side of the road as you approach Ibiza Rocks.

Blades?! Wow sounds like it's getting worse. I'll see if I notice when I head out there - August 23rd.

A rep use to come around to our apartment each night and on the first night when he was just giving us general info and telling us what to watch out for, he told us about them and that 2 or 3 different people had said it to him.

I don't think these are the type of people with business degrees ;) They are just out for a quick buck.

Could be just gossip/hearsay but then again could be true. I wouldn't take the chance anyway.
