Offical Chelsea Vs Utd Thread

I actualy think its a wide open game and the away goals rule will make it intresting for either side. If Chelscum score early they could really take the game to Utd and it will be a close call.

Im sure there will be the usual contrversy a game like this brings but i think the winner of this game will be in the final for sure.

Really? Interesting.
Wouldn't think he'd have time with all his radio work, traveling, etc. More power to him. Always seemed like a decent guy.

i remember when Nevin was at us (everton) there were always articles and pieces in fanzines etc etc about his musical taste.

I'm gonna be one unhappy lad if we can't put one in the bag tonight. That website dedicated to El Nino and his lack of form is disheartening though...get off the boys back! He's a world class footballer, he's just been out of form since before the World Cup. Didier and Anelka will most likely be up top tonight though. Expect to see Torres come on between the 60th-80th.

am actually a bit worried. Puyol's absence has really unnerved the defence and Pique doesn't have anything like the same authority.
 
in the first half against Shaktar it was nervy at times, a couple of awful backpasses, nobody on hand to hoof it
 
Abidal has also been severely missed as he's the quickest defender we have.

There's talk of Mascherano being used as a central defender in some games as he's quicker than Busquets. Busquets and Pique are painfully slow for both to play at the same time at the back.

Impressed with Thiago recently.. you've heard it here first, he'll be the new xavi, iniesta, fabregas.. etc..
