Thanks god,it's soon the summer because the consell insular are getting crazy! If it's continue like that, the clubs are gonna be able to open between 2.am & 5.am ...

SEE YOU ON JUNE,1ST ... 8.AM(at the beach :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:)

If it occurs that either 4pm or 6pm is the new opening times, I can see a whole lot of disappointed clubbers. We love... will lose a lot of its appeal IMO, and DC10, and what will be the situation with Bora Bora if the 4pm or 6pm rule is brought in? will that be under the same opening times?

end of an era? or am I being too pessimistic?

I dont think so! For the majority of clubbers a big part of the appeal is to be able to boogie during the day time.

Personally I never make it to WLS before 6pm or DC10 before 4pm - thats not the point because there are a whole load of people for whom WLS is a strictly daytime affair and even for myself, its lovely walking into a club that is going off at 4/6pm.

Given how much a holiday to Ibiza costs I would rather keep the memory I have had of past years of unrestricted partying that continue to flog a dead horse and spend my hard earned cash on an island where im clearly no longer wanted.

I dont claim to understand the politics of the situation and who is being protected here but thought the 6am to 12am was sufficient to prevent the non-stop party problem they were trying to address.

matinee and welove to be able to open to 12pm, space would have to shut down Friday night and Saturday night. I see hard.
sorry for my english

Great point of view...also with dc10

why not closing every disco at night??????? COOL!!!!!!! Just only party on daylight!

theres only two partys i wish to do in the day and thats WLS and bora bora, if we cant do either before 4.30pm or 6pm i see no appeal going. We can party all night in the uk, and these days for alot cheaper. Without the sunshine day partys theres no spark.:cry::cry:

i think it's very sad what's happening in Ibiza...the law now will be so strict...i don't know if anywhere else in Europe there is a similar phenomenon...it's ridiculous:roll:
probably after 2-3 years clubbers will stop going to the island and the promoters will take their parties somewhere else with not so many restrictions...

So so true! Ibiza is a magical place, for me it's all about how relaxed and calm the place is/was. If you wanted to dance under the sun you could, if you wanted to dance under the stars you could (well atleast in the clubs now) and if you wanted a quiet day/night you could travel to endless amounts of places where tranquility and beauty were easily found.
I already have my trip booked for this year, i'l see how it goes; if these laws are passed i cant see much there for me.
perhaps its time to try croatia or cancun? any other suggestions?

Sad Sad Days Ahead

Just seems to be constant bad news - 12 noon was okay but 4.30pm and 6 pm will do some damage IMO. We shall see...............

I disagree.

If in exhange for the licence to take drugs, play music, get wasted etc the only exahnge thy authorities want is for the official venues to be closed for 6 hours, it's not such a bad thing.

the same people will still go, what ever they say & they will simply get trollyed on the beach in the mean time!

you probably haven't read the update in the previous page:roll:;)

For me 6 hours is fine, I leave most clubs before 6am anyway. I like many many others enjoy a dance in the day under the sun. I think a change from 12pm till 4:30 or 6pm is not good for anyone. I dont take drugs, but i do understand completely the problems they cause; closing the clubs for 10 and halfs hours isn't going to stop people taking drugs, its just going to scatter them about more.

People will stop going to ibiza if they find somewhere else.i love ibiza, like many others on here, but like many others i to will search for other places which arent so strict.

As previosly mentioned, Ibiza is a relaxed place with a amazing atmosphere although it seems like more rules are being introduced and may put some people off!! 12 noon was fine as day clubbing would still be an option but 6pm FFS!!! :spank:

so has this been confirmed yet or still speculation???

i think that the law is gonna stay 12pm for this summer, they have to think about the tourism too ...

6.pm is too restrictive and it would be the only one place in the world that restrictive ... ibiza, the world's party capital:!:
