It's not too bad at present! Yes 10 hours = 4pm openings? Space and DC10 will have to re-schedule although surely it won't stop ppl partying!!

Lets hope the news laws do not mean can't open before 6pm AND have to be shut for 10 hours
In my opinion the most damned disco is Space because they must rescheluded all the parties and i think they are going to lose money and clubbers...I my case, space at night is like clubbing in some disco in madrid, so i prefer by long, amnesia or pacha by night.
If DC10 opens at 12:00, it is gonna be ok for them

compare space a few years ago when it would hold many mediocre afters, often attended by only a few hundred people. there were some notable exceptions of course.
now = space's capacity is x2/3 bigger and they hold hugely popular nights nearly every night of the week. yes i'm sure pepe would rather be able to open all the time but i have no doubt from a business perspective, his balance sheet for 2008 will be healthier than ever.

it's gonna be hard but i agree with you grego...
But i just hope ,they are gonna keep the week end at Noon for matinee and of course WE LOVE SUNDAYS BEST PARTY IN THE WORLD!

space without dayparties (and playadenbossa without borabora)
= not much of interest left.
it´s all about the day(light)-parties
and the parties who start at daylight.
these parties are their "unique selling position" .
that´s why space was/is voted "best club in the world" !
i agree with borchx's sentiment in that space was different because of the daytime thing.
however, they will not lose customers nor suffer financially due to this.
expect space to be packed to the rafters every night tuesday through to sunday.
I have been to IBZ some times, and i only remember 3 times i went to space at night, and those times i always take it very easy to have enough power to go to the after...
I don't care about spend between 150€ - 200€ at a daylight party in space , but i really care to spend it at night...
May be Pepe won't lose money...just will lose adepts of Space...begind with me...this doesn't mean i will never go to Space anymore...i have booked my holidays to IBZ almost one month ago...and i'm sure i will go to a Space session this summer.

bora bora is a beach bar/restaurant its NOT A CLUB!!
it doesnt even have an "inside" - other than the loos
to give you an analogy - sa trincha and numerous other beach bars around the island all do exactly what bora bora do (in one way or another) - its just that journalists and people who've never been here think that its a club for some unknown reason

Hey at least you guys get to party in Ibiza period!!! (in some daylight between 6pm and 9pm at some clubs)........some of us sorry saps won't even be there this year!!!! 
The only daytime parties i'll be attending are errrr.....NONE!!! LOL
It's all good, i'm glad you guys will have fun over there. So jealous. But maybe in the future this will all somehow get better (doubtful).....or not.....OR, there will be a NEW place to party with less restrictions. I heard about the croatia thing, etc. Any daytime parties in Dubai??? This place is supposed to be the new party mecca?? I still want to go to Mykonos, i guess they still have the daytime thing at Cavo Paradiso???? Who knows. There will always be daytime parties somewhere i guess. You just gotta know where to find them. Yes, the daytime parties were my personal favorite. Sounds like Bora Bora not too badly affected, and that is THE place!!

So to make things simple will it or wont it be playing loud music before 16:30
bora bora opening at 4:30 is no big deal... its not really happening much before then anyway.

I probably wouldn't get to Space until about 3 anyway, so 4:30 isn't much different.
Space has some good nights... Carl Cox, Azuli... and i usually enjoy the nights at We love as well... unless its that James Zabiela person...

Exactly, I can club any time I want back home at night, Ibiza (and in particularly Space) I associate with daytime clubbing, Space, at night as a venue, is just a pretty average club
In fact the only time I've ever gone to Space at night has been as an extension of a day thing or I've got in free. I probably wouldn't pay 40 - 50 euros for a night-time sesh at Space unless they had someone AMAZING there that I couldn't see regulary back at home.- Status
