Michael Jackson dead?

Just read an article from the Times that says there could be a library of 100 or more unreleased songs.

Get ready for the Tupac-ification of Michael Jackson

bonus question: Tupac starred in what film with Janet Jackson :?:
(no googling!)

Poetic Justice... because Janet was a poet named Justice... get it? get it?

Jacko was always gonna be the next Tupac when he passed!
Maybe, but without the material, you can only do greatest hits collections, outtakes, b-sides and live performances.

100 unreleased songs is up to 7 or 8 posthumous albums :!:
I think that's about as many as they did with Tupac.
If he really owes the banks $200-400 million as various reports say, you can bet every track will see daylight.

it could all be a big wheeze
Jackson's debts disappear
he rakes in the posthumous dollar a la Elvis and Tupac

significantly, even though i've had a passion during 5 decades for the 'music of black america' i don't have a single track in my collection with any of the jackson's on it.

i suppose hendrix going was a landmark in my young (at the time) life

Um he was no longer "black". Ty very much.

(i am "black" btw)
Don't act like you guys returned him.

Uh, not like it really matters there, right Delusional?

Stephen was referring to blues, early rock, soul and r&b... music which all emerged from the Black community in the States.

If you're trying to say that Michael's music didn't fall into these categories, I could see that point. It was mostly straight-up pop/rock music. Nothing especially 'black' about it other than the artist. And it was like that from the beginning so not sure what you mean by "no longer" or how he cold be "returned"

If you're talking about his appearance issues, then your comment is insipid and entirely off base.
(and before you start, I'm black too)

omg - was searching for my "captain EO - i was there to change the world"-t-shirt
