Kevin and Perry GO LARGE at Amnesia Ibiza 2022

I’m tempted with this myself. Will take me back to the first time I visited the island in 99.

Trance was massive then, went out every night to a different club, remember cream on the thursday was Seb Fontaine’s birthday the place was ridiculously busy!
 
San An also. Probs go down to the rocks for sunset then find a bar and head to the club for 11. What’s the bar like on the corner near Egg these days? There was a trance bar a few years back but not sure that is still going.

It might still be going but as something else. The only one I remember near there was plastik but I think it’s long gone.
 
If anyone can recommend somewhere that will be willing to host a pre party, then can try and get something going by messaging the bar. Probably would attract a few people who aren’t on here too.

This is my favorite track ever. I’ve listened to it many times baked but only once heard it in a club after Sydney shut down again after the Olympics dragged it into the 21century. I can barely remember K and P as a movie. It wasn’t a patch on human traffic which came the closest to me for a night clubbing, but if it’s become the flagship for a bit of uplifting trance for a measly 2 nights a season I wish all the people going next week a wonderful night and if it’s on June 22 - July 9th 2023 I will be there!

I was just about to ask which version was your favourite. Majority say Nalin & Kane but I’m firmly in the Mike Koglin remix camp. Billy Gillies has also done a remix which I’m liking. I’d check him out if you’re into Trance music as he’s done some decent tunes since his break through a few year ago.
 
Just in from Amnesia, what a night! The discoteqthe was pretty much rammed all night, couldn’t even get near to start the night. There were some gaps that appeared in judge Jules’ set so I headed down the front. Fantastic crowd, the tunes were non stop. Very much a nostalgia-fest but that’s what everyone was there for.

They even brought the Kevin & Perry look-a-likes in. Tune of the night for me was Lange - follow me, obvious but it’s what I’d been singing in my head since I booked the ticket. Also nice to hear chicane - Saltwater and Safri Duo in a big club again. 10/10 for me!

Were tickets quite cheap? Pure speculation on my part, but I believe those cannons cost a few hundred euros a pop to fire each time, so maybe it was a budget descision?

Pleased all reporting in so far had a great time!
