A mate I know through clubbing was there when it was filmed. I’m sure the story went along the lines of Harry Enfield came on the microphone at the end of a night and said they needed to film a part for his latest movie and the result is the club scene at the end.

It’s the film that got me into dance music and in particular Trance music, up there with Human Traffic for clubbing films.

They used a Cocoon night which is quite ironic. ‘Germans….’

My mate has had a t-shirt made with one of the sayings off the film on it. Tried getting me to do it but I’m not.

It’s the tunes I’m looking forward to hearing in there rather than the whole thing to do with Kevin & Perry. Really hoping they drop the Bo Bellow remix of Coming On Strong as that’s the one on the film but I’ve only ever heard the original played out.
 
I have flights booked (using some old vouchers from the lockdown days), cheap hotel booked...but it turns out I would have to do it solo as can't change names on the the flight and bring a mate.

Got a bit of a decision to make...already did Amnesia for Clockwork in July, so already scratched that itch for this year...I keep hovering over the free cancellation button on the hotel...but can't bring myself to press it! Not sure I am a solo-clubbing type person at the age of 47...

I dont mean press the cancellation button, that would be the wrong thing to do. Don't do that. Don't do it.

We're staying just outside San An - not sure if we'll head into to town beforehand or just go straight there.... depends what state everyone is in at the time !
