I copped off with a girl who wasn't my date, on a date once.

In my defence, I'd met her at a club the weekend before and she'd asked me to met her a bar on the Friday. She'd failed to mention that the bar was hosting some sort of do for her work. Her and her collegues had started drinking at noon and were absolutely blasted, plus the buffet was garlic-heavy and they all stank.

I braved it for a couple of hours before getting chatting to random unconnected Aussie girl and doing the off to Turnmills and then mine. I'm still FC friends with the garlicy drunk bird:lol:

Let's get back in the saddle... Was talking to another girl on pof, though not messaged since the weekend. Think I'll tap her up again, see if she's still 'available' and see if we can arrange something.

One of the funniest (yet scariest date) was a Portugese girl i met in a club, got number and met the following week.

Only to find she was a tee total god botherer, who spent a lot of time asking about my upbringing and prospects. :lol:

I politely put her in a taxi after about an hour, went home and told my flat mate all about it. And forgot about her. And avoided the increasing number of calls i got from her.

I bumped into her in the city centre one day a few weeks later and had a really awkward moment where she berated me for telling me i loved her and not returning her calls. I was stunned.

I then found out, that, for a laugh, my flat mate had rung her, more than once, when drunk, pretending to be me, and telling her how much I loved her.

Bastard, but funny. :lol:

I also got a card a year later, posted to my work, telling me how much she still cared for me and it had a quote from some Psalm or other in it.8O
 
After 2 years of dating.....i really dont miss it one bit :!:

You end up talking about the same things and it just gets boring....but then in the end that just said it all - i was clearly not on a date with anyone interesting...

Its not until both parties suggest going on the piss together that the date gets interestng ;) :lol: in my opinion anyway

I met one of those, she wanted to make our first date at church. I told her I might burst into flames and I was the wrong one for her.

Depends on what interests you both doesnt it really ?!

1. Cinema dates are a no go

2. Meet at a bar for a few is always an easy option

3. Dinner dates are ok if your brave enough with the whole eating and being in that enviornment

When it comes to first dates if u never met them point 2 is always the best

A lot can be garnered from how a person eats....girls in general are smart and they know this. They do not like to lay all their cards on the table at once.:)
 
I like a girl with a healthy appetite - none of this Paris Hilton posing over pecking at a crab claw !! Fuel up for the night ahead !!! (Ooh arr, farmer ..)

I would always do lunch less pressure and cost. If you hit it off you can have dinner, if not meet your mates later and your night is not ruined. With dinner you might have to use escape tactics.:lol:;)
