The other burd on POF wants to chat some more before meeting. Ah well! Could do with a quiet weekend in - just need to make sure the conversation doesn't fizzle out!

Not really. She has kids so i think we'd need to go more the getting to know each other dating type route. That might not be such a bad thing, build up a bond before naughtiness. I just prefer to meet people sooner rather than later - less time to build a false impression in your head.

(I know I've said I'm not keen on kids, but that's more to do with not wanting the ultimately responsibility of having my own.)

Blimey ... I'd be thinking twice already ! What about all this speed dating malarky (no, not that kind of speed dating :spank:)... loads of people I know do it and I can see the attraction - quick eyeball and banter before wasting any time or money. Again, have never been arsed to try it...

Did the speed dating thing, it worked pretty good. It is not as bad as it seems.

Some guys i spoke to for a fair while before even speaking on the phone and others would ring me on the day we swapped a message - usually i would only agree to this if i was pissed....

I remember the time when Ray and me went out to dinner - on his 30th for his treat :rolleyes: and this dude on POF rang me...so i happily took the call while Ray sat in the car, looking somewhat annoyed :lol: the dude turned out to be full of BS so didnt bother with that little fishy

I just don't have the money for random events, anyway - put too much into hols this year. I've been to pof meets before, though - some were okay, but the ones held in Madness (in Glasgow) horrible! Snogging/sex simulation games on stage where ~15 blokes/ ~15 girls do stuff, swap partners (musical chairs stylee), peeps getting voted off in each 'round' that gets more and more explicit. Not classy & perfect way to pass on cold sores! I'm no prude, but who'd want to chat up someone who'd been playing that game. *vomit smiley required*
