Internet Dating

Thankfully im ok 'ish' in interviews and have become a bit of a pro when it comes to this dating malarky ;) or maybe its just my greatness that made me a success :lol:

Ahhh yeah the POF meet ups, used to get a few messages about the ones local to me, i suggested to my gf for a laugh that we go to one, but were both early twentys so it was very doubtful we would meet anyone in our age range.

Didnt think that they would end up being anything like what you saw tho :eek: thats just gross and ruins POF's rep :confused:

More to do with that particular establishment (Madness - avoid!) and the 'wacky' (crappy!) entertainment there. I've been to meets in other venues and they've been okay, more laidback - even got a snog at one. :lol: Sadly, Madness seems to the most popular one for holding Glasgow meets.

TBH, I get talking to more people by going to The Arches and getting off my t!ts. :eek: :lol:

Not surprised that goes on, know a few folk who use that site and its just full of slags giving it the whole "I don't usually sleep with guys when I first meet them" but you know full well they have a fanny like a wizards sleeve! My mate pumped one who gave him this speech then ended up after the deed (and making him eat ice cream from here lady garden) that he was the 26th guy she'd shagged off POF!

Brave man, I ventured into Madness once and a woman tried to molest me and actually tugged tat my jeans and the button came off! :eek: I would never go back in, turns out horny old women love a baby face!

Pubs, Arches and Sub Club only for me!

The scary thing is... crap as it is, it's the best chance I have! I'm really not good at meeting people out, unless I'm on something and then my mind is so scatty I can hardly build a decent conversation or i forget who I'm meant to be talking to. :lol:

From a bloke's POV, there are some nice looking women on POF, although the ones that go for me usually have at least two of the following attributes: overweight/several years older/few kids/txt speakers. The frustrating thing is, although no oil painting myself (perhaps an acquired taste), I do keep myself in reasonable shape and I think my profile's quite in depth and intelligent/fun sounding. (JV1975 on there if anyone wants a laugh!) It's all stacked in favour of women, though, as I think there are more blokes than women on there. A lot of them are pretty easy, but I guess so am I given half the chance. :lol: How many people wait a long time before putting out these days?

Just remember and stick a rubber on it. :lol:

Never mind Madness, that's happened to me in a pub in Shoreditch. Some 40-somethings do like 30-ahems with baby faces .. and boy can they be pushy :lol: !!

PS - (duck) .. not saying 40-somethings are old women .. that would soon enough make me an old man and I am only that after a weekend of gardening !

Haha, reminds me of a lady that was wanting to meet me. (Despite being in the midst of a massive drought, I declined.) Early 40s and let's just be polite and say really not my type. Her selling points were she could squirt and perform some sort of trick with cherry tomatoes. :lol:
 
Age has little to do with it anyway. I know ladies who are over 40, look after themselves and are hot, and girls in their 20s who are happy just to let it slide. It's all about how you look after yourself and what you make of it.
