It used to occasionally happen in the 90s and early 00's. The club wasn't usually as busy during this period and it underwent a significant re programming as a result.Cant think of a time I've seen Pacha cancel one of their weekly parties from the season schedule.. usually something you see Es Paradis or Eden do, but Pacha usually have their schedule pretty much cemented for the season, be strange if it does get cancelled, but likewise, what do I know!
Generally cancelled nights are not replaced. In the overall business plan its actually more cost effective to have an empty club rather than endure losses from an unpopular night. Curiously djs and performers will continue to pick up at least 50% of their fee despite not playing. It's a case of managing the losses. Cash flow is king. And every night has a tipping point where losses have to be minimised. It's also a question of what you can replace it with. all bigger crowd pullers (either commercial or underground) are tied up pretty much to other nights. you could always put on a cheaper night with ibiza residents but will that pull in more numbers?

I am very surprised, I thought they had an absolute stormer last season!
Where is everyone going then ?it´s a party that always had a really good vibe albeit not being packed. last season it was mostly nicely busy, this year it seems they suffered more, same as others do.

well there´s a lot of parties going on that night too...
but maybe it´s just that really there isn´t enough scope for a weekly night with that kind of music.
