What if the big-change Abode was talking about wasn't a change of venue but a change of night??

Moving into the void left by VIVa Warriors on Sundays could be considered a big move for them too.
(and it would mean they wouldn't be directly competing with Music On on Fridays, which even they acknowledged their fanbase was likely to opt for over them).

Abode @ Sankeys or Defected @ Eden is now the dilemma...... Haven't been to either venue, Would prefer the least techno affair as doing the circooloo/cocoon double on Monday!

Defected will be 100% House. Abode will be 90-95% House

Yeah, tech-house i guess. Some but not much techno imho.

Having said that, probably v.similar to Circo's sound. Difference being Circo will be more upfront whilst at Abode you will hear more stuff you know ie. a few classics thrown in

I got the same dilemma. Always wanted to check out what's the fuss about abode night but I have been to sankeys already so probs will go defected instead since I heard Eden had a refurb and the new sound system is sick. Still waiting for Hi to announce what's on Sundays tho. Maybe anyone got any updates?

Reading between the lines it's going to be EDM - a Steve Aoki or Major Lazer type.

Think I'm also swaying towards Eden as Sankeys has a lot of negative comments on here and can only visit one! Abode is really hyped at the moment so may catch it in London in September!

Ah guess won't be able to check out Hi this year. Maybe it's for the better because if I did most likely I would just moan how old space was better ha.

Went to Sankeys warriors night last year and I did enjoy both the night and the venue. Can't say which one is better compared to Eden tho because haven't been to that one yet. But by the looks of it that will change this year :)
 
Stivi can you give anything away on how different Hi will look? I know they are only keeping the main room and Terraza as rooms but will they look completely different or will they look the same with just some changes?
