Ibiza 2022 impressions

Same in U.K. shops. Though someone made a good point on TV the other day. We all laugh at how early Christmas stuff is in the shops, but some folks have to divide their Christmas spend across September/ October/ November / December pay-cheques. Probably a valid point.
i prefer my method, why I divide it between December (and January, February and March) :spank:

I think certainly San Antonio is in the midst of huge change and it doesn't seem to be exactly painless for the town. Places like Viva!, The Godfather and others are gone in the West End, likewise newer businesses like TropiQ and Ibeefa Burger have closed and even established businesses such as the restaurant Sa Prensa have gone under. There seem to be boarded up or shuttered businesses dotted about everywhere at the moment. I think the future for San Antonio is really bright, no matter how bleak certain parts of it look at the moment.

don't forget we've had a complete non-season in 2020 and only half a season last year.
it might not be as visible as in san an, but in ibiza town lots of places also have shut or changed ownership. in the case of san an it obviously also has to do with the change of the place itself (trying to get away from the westend booze holiday atmosphere), but let's just say covid certainly hasn't helped!

If there are people , who want to spend money for a San An Style Holiday , they will find a possibility and a offer. There is money to earn.
Not like before , but similar. Maybe a lot of it will go to PdB. Ok , the outside music is not like before.

Indeed a bar owner near Octan in Bossa sadly told me if this summer wasn't amazing he would be done, 2020/2021 has hit hard (that area has been in decline since before that though)

San Antonio is a weird one because you have the sunset strip and then a 5 minute walk there is the complete dive the west end.... Quite the contrast really and one doesn't compliment the other.

Then the restaurants along the front with Rita's are really nice sort of lets say £££ (Rita's an exception) and you then pass a corner and you have real budget restaurants more like £ along the front towards WIPS which honestly I have no problem with but again neither compliment each other

Head around to other side of the bay by Paradiso and along that road there are a dozen empty buildings. One started construction and has stopped in its early development and is just an empty frame but you have Wayne trying to make OB area of San Antonio Hollywood boulevard what with a cheeky one Chinese restaurant that has sprouted up now...

You also forget the Avenida Dr Fleming where you have bars like Itaca, Orange Corner and Bar M/Ibiza Rocks Bar just past the front which are very much a step up from the West End bars.
