Global Gathering 2011

I've seen Louie Vega in a club and he's not my cup of tea.. Don't know about Wally Lopez I feel that he's one of them Mark Knight kinda people , maybe I'm wrong lol

Well i'd never seen Wally Lopez before, but a couple of other people said they were going so we said ok, it was our last night after all, so thought why not, glad i did because he was great! 8)
 
What's wrong with Mark Knight? I enjoyed him at Global a couple of years ago. Not seen him since, and I was :eek:, but still.
 
I know the stuff you mean we call it fake tech house it's cheesey it's what all the electro house people have moved onto to be cool , it's just as poo as electro house lol I like 2000 and one

ha ha it wasn't that kind of stuff either, it's quite hard to describe what exactly it was though, i dunno, you'll just have to find out for yourself ha ha

2000 and One was amazing, we didn't get to our hotel til about 1am, and the closest club was Eden, Wonderland was on but he was playing along with Da Housecat and Tong obviously, so we thought may as well, 2000 and One was great, and i was impressed with Tong too as i thought it was gonna be a little commercial, but it really wasn't, obviously Felix was good too! 8)
 
Maybe I should rephrase that :lol: the music is good for a beach or a bar but not for going on one in a club, I like it but for me that is not want I want to go clubbing to so when I saw him I was a bit bored.. that doesn't mean I'm saying he's sh*t of course I wouldn't :)

Just saw him a week or two ago.
It was somewhere between house, techno and electro. An amalgamation, if you will.
It was actually ok... but probably because I was wasted.

Just saw what you said about Louie. Off to the corner and have a word with yourself.

Wally Lopez is actually quite good as well. Hadn't rated him until last time I saw him.

I hadn't said the music he plays is not beautiful, tasteful, sophisticated. I love that latin thing in certain contexts but for me personally not in a club.

I tend to prefer very dark, eerie sounds. Dark energy podcast Milton Jackson that kind of thing, or old school sounds. The latin stuff is for having a meal :lol:
 
Louie Vega is really down to earth too especially since he's such a legend, plus he is just a genuinely nice bloke!

I wouldn't put any as favs Ive never heard felix 2000 and one good but nowhere near a fav and louie is not to my taste as such the rest are poop !

They were really just my favourites from Ibiza last year!
