Getting to/from Ibiza latest info

Hi, sorry to throw this in here… we’re arriving on Sunday and this was mentioned in the Scottish governments brief today. I can’t find any more information on the internet though 😐 basically implying that Spain are going to announce 14 day quarantine for non vaccinated UK arrivals

I really can't see spain adding a 14 day quarantine...I would be very surprised if they do

Uk travellers are super important for Spain

No matter how much I'm desperate to go; I'm holding off the "pay" button, as alluded to before been stung too much before.

Also extremely worried about the length of time it's taking to get back into this country via immigration; stuck in queues for hours @ Heathrow - and that's with extremely limited travel. Not convinced the regional airports will be any better as customs and immigration is provided everywhere by the Home Office?

So if anything is available June/July/August, for me I'll be looking for the near continent, probably eurostar, while things settle down. Few beers in belgium, walks around Luxembourg etc would be nice, and see what September brings.
I booked a house in Ibiza for my family and myself for 4 weeks in August. Part of us is vaccinated, the other part won't be able to get the vaccine yet. I just hope they let ALL of us enter the island, leave Germany without a problem (except for testing issues).

Terrible. What a holiday. That's not fair. What do we have tests for???

Makes no sense at all. random antigen tests are useless against the delta variant. numbers are already exploding over in Mallorca, will be a matter of time til the Balearics are in trouble again.

Sad but probably true! I am worried...I hope July will be ok at least

@stivi am I right in reading the incidence rate for Ibiza is 95 per 100,000 people? Seems very high? Wonder if they will effect entry into the island.

according to this an antigen test should also be sufficient

I thought that might be the case, looking at previous testing rules, but booked the Mrs a PCR test so as not to struggle for an appointment. Doh!

It was 41 a couple days ago, be really surprised if it's 2.5x now. What's your source of information?
Ibiza Covid-19 information on Facebook - they have been pretty reliable since the start of the pandemic. That said, I might be reading the info wrong.

So we are planning to fly from scotland on 14th. This is what I am understanding I have to do to get there…

2x adults fully vaccinated with over 14 days only need proof of vaccination and no testing at all?

12 year old needs pcr test 48 hrs before?

9 year old needs nothing (had covid but you cannot get proof anyway in uk) ?

Ryanair is very vague about their own personal requirements to fly, it seems to be only what the destination country is, is that correct?

Yes that's sounds correct, I think Ryan air will be fine with all that also
