So we are planning to fly from scotland on 14th. This is what I am understanding I have to do to get there…
2x adults fully vaccinated with over 14 days only need proof of vaccination and no testing at all?
12 year old needs pcr test 48 hrs before?
9 year old needs nothing (had covid but you cannot get proof anyway in uk) ?
Ryanair is very vague about their own personal requirements to fly, it seems to be only what the destination country is, is that correct?
Apologies If this has been stated and Ive missed it. But If we and my missus go to Spain, we will be both double jabbed, Im guessing our 4yr old doesnt need any testing, or does he?
ThanksAll good. 12+
This is the hidden problem, while adults are tested and quarantined, who's to say that the nippers mixing in the play areas won't bring home a variant?! Not saying kids shouldn't go abroad or anything, but it is a gaping hole in our defences, which would render all the protocols with adults completely useless!Apologies If this has been stated and Ive missed it. Omg please not….I really can't see spain adding a 14 day quarantine...I would be very surprised if they do
Uk travellers are super important for Spain
Yes this is the part I’m struggling with! The 48 hour window is very small, particularly with pcr tests. I called up my Covid test company and they said that in the certificate they provide for the flight it doesn’t state a time of test, just a date.I’ve just realised that our test is at 15:30 today and we fly at 17:45 on Friday…. Which is more than 48 hours…. But I thought it had to be within 72 hours!?!?

Complications arise when flights are sunstantially delayed or cancelled. Travel has been o restricted it isn't probably an issue, but as more flights are put on and more travel, law of averages suggests people will be caught out.Yes this is the part I’m struggling with! I’m hoping the 48 hours isn’t strict and a test within 49/50 hours means getting turned away!
I don't think they are, maybe in the future,if you have a print out of confirmation of it that would be sufficientMalta now not accepting the NHS app as proof of vaccination. I take it the NHS app is how Spain are accepting proof of vaccination?
Possibly hope not but that's to expectedView attachment 12091
My guess is that by Sunday the Balearics are back to Amber.
Hope your right. The UK Goverment are more interested in vaccination rates, hospital admissions etc and testing capability.Possibly hope not but that's to expected
....more tourists more cases...stivi confirmed in the ibiza updates that hospitalisation rate low, vaccination rate high and its more the young that have covid
Yeh I hope so too...it does depend what the government are interested in, I think spain are interested in that as they haven't really back tracked,Hope your right. The UK Goverment are more interested in vaccination rates, hospital admissions etc and testing capability.
Hopefully it all calms down. Then again its not exactly calm here in the UK.
