Getting to/from Ibiza latest info

Spain has now scrapped the passenger locator form for those who are jabbed just need to show your vacinne QR code now. The non-jabbed still need to fill it in.
Thanks for the info; great news! Only issue I have now is will I be offered a further jab (the 4th) before September, so the 9-month period gets extended over the autumn...or will all protocols be scrapped by then?

It's actually preventing me from booking September/October, may have to give September a miss and book Oct last-minute if I can't get a further jab until then.

Post Office prepaid currency card is an option, means if you lose it you only lose the amount on it and you can top it up and freeze the card from the app.
It's been superb!! I would have thought a "Post Ofice" card wouldn't be cool, as opposed to the likes of "American Express"; however my day was made when I entered a hotel and saw a sign "American Express Not Accepted Here"!!!

Wahey!!

I noticed when in Algarve the other week, lots of the bars were running on cash only, signs in windows or doors saying card machine broken 🤣

Oh that's happened a lot to me in the UK. Go into a bar, buy a drink, get my card out to pay...."no card, it's broken". Some pubs do have "No cards/Cash Only or the reverse clearly displayed which helps.
One day I didn't have enough cash; but there was a cashpoint within 400m so that wasn't too bad That's the Alma in Bolton...which now takes cards! In Torremolinos I ordered a beer, then found he was cash only, so nipped back to the hotel room to top up my purse with notes!
Oh for the days of a slate!!

I'd expect it'll all be scrapped by then, im not a scientist in the slightest but everyone is catching Omnicron even those triple jabbed and people who've had Covid before, antibody levels must be sky high in the population now

Yeah, think that's right, only concern is yet another variant which becomes more severe than Omicron and means more jabs and vax passporting. Still, no point in worrying about something that might not happen.

There is no requirement for 14 days to have passed between receiving your booster jab and entering Spain. Booster jabs can be administered at any time prior to travel to Spain. There is currently no expiry date for booster jabs.

A matter of fact 😂

Has anyone flown to Ibiza via Stanstead recently? With all the drama going on with Manchester, my girlfriend is stressing about Stanstead being similar!

Buy the express security pass would be my recommendation. It's a small price to pay
Manchester abandoned that until the end of April but allowed those who had bought fast-track to use it; apparently at times the queues for FT were longer than the other ones as there was only one FT lane open!

The "travel health control form" still needs to be completed, I haven't done that but I assume it validates your vax cert and means you don't need to complete the locator form?
At Alicante last week you didnt need any health form. All we did was show our passports at the first desk, and then they scanned our QR code on our NHS app at the second desk. That was it.
Although Ryanair staff no1 at the boarding desk told me I still needed to do SPTH form ("as you are not in the EU!"), to which I disagreed , and then Ryanair staff no2 onboard plane told me he "didnt have a clue about it" when I asked him to confirm the NHS app was all thats required.

It took about 40 minutes to get through security at Ibiza today. The queues were massive. Check in was quicker for my flight, but the queues at other desks were ordinarily long. Guess some people are using up to one and a half hour to get through.

Not to Ibiza. But flew from Stansted Friday afternoon, zero queue at security. Coming back about 20 mins

Just been told that to get into Ibiza you need a COVID jab within 270 days of going. Some of my group falls out of this date and we have been advised to re book the holiday next year .. what are your thoughts on this ??
