Getting to/from Ibiza latest info

No way I could hang on until July after only 2 days on the island in almost 3 years 😐 Booked for May 16th, only £150 for flight and hotel 😁 Can - not - wait
Let's hope the Sahara Dust has been washed away! Actually - did Ibiza "suffer" at all, or was it mainly the south of the mainland? I was told the south of England got a dusting, but nothing like the mud that was left behind in Malaga!

Might make a quick booking for a few days in the fortnight after the Easter fortnight, there's only the early May holiday here so that doesn't really boost demand (the kids only have the one day AFAIK the poor wee bairns) so should find cheap flights/hotels etc.

But I don't think Ibiza town's gay scene will be anything like open that early?? Also the pools and sea are far too cold for swimming, so hotel with indoor pool would be essential. Can only think of two, Maritimo and Molinos near the town.

Edit; think the Maritimo has quoted 4 nts for under £100 in a double; in a hurry now but will go back and check later; and book that week!! Flaming cheaper than living at home....

After some entertainment costs it might end up slightly more expensive....

I've got clubbing trips in July and September so will happily get quietly messed up on this one

I’m looking at coming over 27th may for 4 nights with the family. Hopefully some restrictions for entering are relaxed. Can’t believe they won’t accept a negative result tbh!

After looking at my calendar it appears I'm going to Brighton the week I wanted to book Ibiza! Probably be more happening there tbh, I'm in Ibiza in June anyway so I can wait. As for entertainment costs, I don't think Ibiza can better one certain bar off The Laines, £6.50 for an 330ml bottle of fairly ordinary beer :-O
That place is off my list!

Love Brighton, hopefully the sun shines for you.

I brought a round of 3 fine in Cheltenham not long back for £45 😮. At least I get Ibiza when I'm paying Ibiza prices

Tell you what, sat on a warm summers' evening at Sa Roqueta overlooking the water and Ibiza in the distance with it's bright lights twinkling, what a floor show, they can charge what they like. But it's probably the cheapest bar on Formentera!
Come round with the bill...two large beers 10 euros, the view...priceless.

Flew out on Thursday. 1hr 45m in the security queue. Staff that were there doing their best. Luckily only hand luggage do hoping returning won’t be too bad.
If the airport can't cope then some flights should be transferred to leeds or Liverpool (maybe free buses put on for those with pre-existing tickets).
Another thing, for the workers the airport's far out of town, transport and parking is expensive. Maybe a system where major towns had cabin baggage drop-off points where they can be checked there 24 hrs before the flight, sealed and transferred to airside for collection, so you only have to walk through with your ticket and passport?
Of course Manchester would feck it all up so pointless.
But perhaps there could be some way of pre-checking out of airport, having the bag thoroughly sealed so you can walk through dedicated lanes - and all they have to do is check the seal? But I can see the time coming where Manchester simply won't allow cabin bags at all and everything save for a wallet has to be checked-in and go into the hold whether the airline wants that or not.

Were due to fly to alicante on wednesday. Waiting on my sons passport (what a saga in itself..) and likely to have to change flights to the weekend. No more flights available from Lpool so we gotta change to...yup manchester. And we've got a hold case. Dreading it. At least we've had heads up, plan to get there 4hrs before if need be.

Just had our outward flight from LGW to IBZ cancelled on Thursday 28th April by EasyJet … I have rebooked via Palma Majorca on two separate airlines and return on EasyJet on 1st May … have a one hour connection in Palma so hope no delays on the day

Can you drop the case off in advance and get that out of the way? Although to be fair I wouldn't hold my breath about it turning up, but then again it's the same if you present cases on the day I suppose.

Were with Easyjet. dont think they offer that service do they. But thanks to someones review in the review section, we will now be taking our four year old in a buggy to garner sympathy and beat some of the queuing

They do (or did,its been a long time.....) at Gatwick if you've got a super early flight, not sure about anywhere else

Does anyone know what the story is on this page:

When you select travelling to ibiza from international, it says Diagnostic tests and Recovery certificates are accepted but "not in the case of passengers arriving from the UK"?? What is the deal with that? Does that mean strictly UK citizens or anyone landing from a flight coming from the UK?

Seems like a data scraping site? Would ignore and go with the official site from Spain.
