Flights to Ibiza

Number of what? People / Flights?
I think the old Monarch runway slots at Gatwick will be purchased by Easy or BA, so I really can't see less flights next year.

They're not going to easyJet.
The Monarch capacity will be swept up but don't expect historically their exact schedules

Probably less of a London issue as I think they only had 1-2 flights a day anyway. I am guessing in the regions, there may be more impact.

Their share in the Ibiza market was very small to be fair - I would say people will find an alternative or make it work for them in order to fly. Monarch were as you say operating about 2 flights a day sometimes 3 spread across their bases and not 7 days a week.

Also the airlines were in the process of submitting their plans for next summer right when Monarch went into Administration so no doubt over the coming months they will make changes to their plans.

going to miss that Monarch 4:50am flight to Gatwick . Went straight from Circo Loco to the airport for that a few years ago. I was still in a state by the time we landed in London!

Ah Man! I remember that one when I was in my early 20s! I had no choice but to fly on that. A few times I did that flight and then straight into a university lecture at 9AM. NOT a pretty sight I am sure...

Do we reckon that more London to Ibiza flights will be added for May / June, or should we just suck it up and pay the eye-watering fares now before they go up any more?

Booked this morning for next September (17th-22nd) with BA. £200 via Gatwick on the way there, and Heathrow on the way back, which is a decent price considering it's 4 flights in total and all day time. Also used some Avios points to bring it down to £140. :)

Anyone know if BA or EasyJet are doing any Black Friday offers such as discount codes? The prices currently listed are the same as they were last week :-/

Today looking at flights for my week next year, I can either do 4 hours stopover and an airport change in London with BA or 11hrs in Amsterdam....

Choices, choices....

Have you checked out Etihad from AD? I got an amazing deal from them and because they took shares in Air Berlin, Al Atalia (if they are not defunt by next year!) etc you get a through ticket with minimum connection times.
