Flights to Ibiza

A mini suitcase is hand luggage or also known as 'Carry on'. There is a reason why people like to take hand luggage on board as they like to keep valuable items close to their persons and avoid the stupidly long wait at the other end.

What I was highlighting is that they are very strict trying to get that 60euro to generate ancillary revenue due to the fact the flight makes no money on seat sales..... So Alcohol and charging bags at the gate is where the profit comes from and so a word of warning

Interestingly though that on the flip side what happens on a full flight and with everyone taking hand luggage to avoid the silly baggage fee's and or waiting for 1hr 25mins the other end to collect your bag means everyone pretty much takes the bag on board. What happens is the people getting on last have no room to put their bag in a over head locker. The bag gets tagged for free and put in the hold.

So my brother got charged but if he had got on last then it would have been put in the hold for free.

A wicked web they weave

true that and exactly the reason why i always board the plane as one of the last passengers.

Farewell Monarch airlines. A big thank you for your service to Ibiza.

With Monarch gone (RIP), does anyone know which airline has taken their routes?

As there are now fewer flights, for the dates around the 2018 opening parties, quite a few of the London flights are already showing as £300+ one way.

Madness.
I wouldn't trust Ryanair at the moment either with the issues they've had with cancelled flights. Not looking good!

Wasn't the Ryanair issue due to a build up of holiday leave for pilots needing taken by the end of the year? Wouldn't have thought that would be an issue in May.

That said i understand why people wouldn't wanna risk it.

The BA opening prices at the moment are extremely high! They are pretty intelligent with their pricing models these days, so I guess they know what they doing.

Outside of opening however, there are some amazing prices. British Airways will have 7 flights from London on Saturdays, and 8 on Sundays next year! I mean that is pretty insane really, on top of about 4+ most other days. You can find some £110 returns in late June, early July.

Number willl be down next season and that can only be a good thing..

Number of what? People / Flights?
I think the old Monarch runway slots at Gatwick will be purchased by Easy or BA, so I really can't see less flights next year.

Ravers been out priced on flights and accommodation.clubs dead/only half full of non dancing VIPS

When I go again next year it'll either be mid June or October if the prices sit where they were for most of last season.

July 13 Paris->ibz 165€ with luggage in bag holder (update, with other company i dont like 105€ :))
aug 7th Ibz-> Paris only 60€ with baggage compartment

this schedule can be move one week along august, beginning July 20th

Thanks to return tix price is quiet fair as prices can rise to 300€ for single tix, but too soon to book tix (should be done around june..)...

25days in ibz for summer  if no opening planned (99.999% i wont do opneing this year) , u heard it

@Nobbie Q , get ready to experience ibiza with the Captain :D lot of parties & lot of restaurants.:)

some really cheap ryanair flights out now in March and april (possibly early may too) as part of their black friday promotions. Ideal for a cheap spring getaway.
We did well with our flights in june. 252 return quid for two of us and the little feller with a hold bag each. From Liverpool.

I agree, unfortunately my husband is a teacher so we're tied to the school holidays which just happen to be around the openings! I'll be there for IMS anyway and my flight out won't be too expensive, nor is the return flight.
