Balearic, Chill Out & Sunset Music

in my campervan the other week, I was horrified to find there was no USB socket. The guy almost laughed in my face and said new vehicles don't have them anymore (?!) which meant having to find an adaptor at some petrol station in the dusty outskirts of Zaragoza - or endure Spanish FM. It just feels like mp3s will eventually only be used by proDJs and nobody else. I still download bits to make mixes to play around the flat or to still load ipod with. I do listen to a load of reliable streams instead of radio now eg Howler's show, Coco, George Mihaly QMLS, Paramida, Gonzo on dublab people like that, but there's only so much time. Vinyl binges twice a year at record fairs mostly but that's it.
 
I’ve had a real OCD with buying music this year. Mostly Bandcamp for new tracks, but I’ve bought quite a few rarer older tracks on CD and Vinyl. Some I’ve hunted down after hearing or being reminded of my youth.
Still keeping it fresh hopefully.
 
This is really floating my boat at the moment. Any pointers to find more of this? Labels, mixes, shows? ( apart from here )

I don't really know them but I caught a bit of the Ultras at 'Where Love Lives' in the summer. Nice set, actually. Just the tonic for those recovering, sprawled on haystacks around the tent. The force is strong on the south coast.

When you’re in recovery mode the right music does help.

They're great. I heard Steve KIW talking very warmly about that set. An epic Talk Talk moment when hands were in the air, even from those seated on the haystacks!

Nice, I've put it on the read list. Bought that 'Scared' record from Padilla's personal collection some years ago, may he rest in balearic peace.
