Good call. Actually MFD is not often on my radar. Over 110 releases since start of the year is blatant overkill to me so I'm happy if someone takes time to shed some unbiased Spotlight on the jumble.

agreed. I find there is some good stuff but the releases are so relentless, not always with quality control

there's definitely some sifting needed I agree, but there is a very broad range on releases.

Nu Genea's second album won't end up in my trivial year-end list (Marechià is the only track that sticks around for me, and that was already released seperately last year), but it does seem to hit a snare with many others. Buzz surrounding the release was a harbinger of commercial success, but I never thought it would culminate into this:
