I just missed the actual raids but yeah apparently that was the case, loads of groups of youths hanging about that clearly were nowhere near the legal age!!

Went to walk into one bar as it was raided on Friday and then arrived at one just after the raid on Saturday! there was a lot of young spanish about with it being the Fiesta though.

pantaloni not amused at all:

PP president of Sant Antoni, Joan Pantaleoni, who also owns some of the facilities
that will be affected by future modifications of schedules that aims to bring out the consistory 'portmanyí', yesterday showed surprise at the announcement
of Major Pepita Gutierrez on social networks.
"I wonder what post (changing times) on Facebook as it has done to date is still talking
between the West End and the City, so I understand that this can only harm the fact Directions an agreement, "said the president of the popular group.

When asked whether these differences could affect the political formation, Pantaleoni said that next week will convene a press conference to position "politically and corporately."
Still, moved a reflection that demonstrates their rejection of this modification times,
which aims to close all nightlife establishments of the town at five in the morning, instead of six
.

"If you remove one hour a day three months of the season,
being generous because it does not last long, are 90 hours.
In the West End you work six hours a day,
from 00.00 until 06.00 hours, throwing high.
That means that if we divide the 90 hours between six hours of a working day,
we are taking 15 days of activity in high season.
I do not know which group can support this, "said Joan Pantaleoni
.

Closing Times
Although nothing has yet been officially confirmed the mayoress of the town revealed on the Town Hall's facebook page that it would soon agree new closing times for cafe conciertos and clubs within the town centre. Until now these establishments have been allowed to stay open until 6am, but that could be cut by an hour – to 5am – if Pepita Gutierrez gets her way. San Jose agreed similar legislation last week, and San Antonio looks set to follow suit.
Meanwhile in Santa Eulalia mayor Vicent Mari announced that the municipal would not be issuing any cafe concierto or discotheque licenses for twelve months until town plans have been modified. Mari said that changes would be made to current plans to ensure the continued co-existence between residential and tourist areas.

Noise

The Local Police are to be handed more power when dealing with bars where music is played too loudly. The new measures cover several changes and officers will now, amongst other things, be able to confiscate musical equipment, close down a business, either completely or partially, suspend licences temporarily or take other steps which they feel necessary to control the situation. However, the fines which may be levied are not as stringent, as they run from 750€ to 3,000€ in the case of serious infractions, but in all cases the fines may be accompanied by the suspension of the activity licence for a total of one month.
