It's the worst thing about what is otherwise a great venue, even on things that errr boost your energy you can only last so long.

Understand they don't want everyone ploughing in just for the headliner and they want the bar sales but it's far too early.
 
To be fair it’s such a big venue you want people in otherwise it’s just big empty and cold.

I thought it’d be a struggle for Drumcode last year but by 10 it was booting off and the depot & archive were really busy

True, but maybe Printworks have a better approach where it's cheaper to go before I think 2pm, so you get different options
 
Theyve got 2 setups in the Star and Garter on Saturday, if youre looking to catch anyone in there, beware the rooms are small, one is tiny

Just checking this thread I'm so blown away that Manchester finds another awesome dark deep down venue - looks f***n awesome (has shades of the Arches in Glasgow) not open in manc in my day - but there used to be pubs under the railway across from the Hacienda.
My nephew goes to the WHP and seems to enjoy....muchly
In my research on ibiza to help me simplify things for my old brain - I started looking at them as similar to a place the size of Manc
i know my clubs are 20 years out of date but here i went
PSV - DC10
Hacienda - Amnesia
Sankeys Soap - Eden
Holy City Zoo - Octan
Phoenix - Underground.
Conti Club - Pikes
Appreciate any feedback on my choices. No places like Hi or Ush that i went to LOL
