WHP Warehouse Project MCR

He's a criminal who is using top lawyers to try and gag The Mill newspaper from revealing the extent of his fraudulent lockdown handouts

yep.. it's worrying that one man can have the entire Manchester elite in his pocket. Labour people too... :( doesn't augur well for the future

The Manchester Mill haven’t put all the coverage behind the paywall. At least today’s post is freely accessible.

Always thought he was a bit of
A slink tbh, not seen any of
Whats going on but summit not right with him

To be fair, the issue people have had with his exclusivity clauses, where big DJs paid to play WHP project were contracted not to play other venues in the area for a certain amount of time before and after aren't much more than common sense, especially if you are paying big money, for flights and hotels too. London afterparties piggybacking on having big 'unannounced' DJs playing on a Sunday morning after someone took all the risk was a feature of the early 2000s.

Agreed - and the clause was only 6 weeks either side. You could argue with Parklife if timed well it’s probably 6-9 months of a year.

I know Hed Kandi at honey club back in the day was the same thing - no other club could book it within 30 miles or something. All fairly standard stuff

Yeah. I didn’t fancy arguing the toss about the man on a public forum.
Agree with your points there may be some sour grapes but I think it’s got more basis than that. His positions as money maker and adviser seem completely untenable to me. He sets my spidey senses tingling, always has.

Just announced they are opening a new rooftop space (which will also be a smoking area)

Imagine only in use for music for the very big events though, it's a big building to fill and they don't always open Archive as it is

Did they not have it open for a few things last year?

About a month ago there was a beavertown event up there with ruf dug, pbr streetgang, sbtrkt, moxie and Leon vynehall which I went to and enjoyed despite the slightly lacking atmosphere (to be expected at an event like that). Needless to say it absolutely pissed it down too!
