What they don't realize is that this could perfectly also happen to Ibiza, goodbye to "new normality" and back to phase 2...? it what's i m afraid it may happen in ibz bars/beach bars, with lot of tourist wih parties on minds, they will loosen up if there isnt (police?) staff to keep the law respected in all bars.

New coronavirus outbreaks force first area in Spain to move back to a previous deescalation stage
Around 67,700 residents of Aragón were placed in Phase 2 of the government's plan on Monday, just a day after the entire country entered what has been dubbed the ‘new normality’english.elpais.com
have to agree, if previous phases do come back in effect knowing what we know now the groups that are low risk or unless choose otherwise this time should be able to remain as normalConcerns me deeply.
If governments keeps pushing areas or countries back to earlier phases....they will destroy what's left of their economy and mental health of their citizens. We need to stop thinking corona is the only risk we are dealing with here. Age differentiation in the measures still seems like the only way out to me. Protect the vulnerable, but safe the low-risk young people to economy, tourism etc.
It really seems like many people don't understand what's at stake.Concerns me deeply.

not for a second saying the virus isn't serious and hasn't taken many lives but I still yet aren't to know anyone that has had it, I don't even know anyone that knows anyone that has had it.. I do personally know 2 that have taken their own lives during this lockdown (may of been underlying issues but I can almost guarantee the situation we are in has been a big factor) a few of my friends have also lost people similar way during. the realness of this goes far beyond life's effected directly by CovidIt really seems like many people don't understand what's at stake.
Massive economic cost of pandemic becoming clearer
Australia has flattened the curve so the focus has shifted to the economic carnage that will be left in COVID-19's wake, even if there are no further outbreaks.www.smh.com.au
For Australia, for example, depending which numbers you use for the economic impact assessment, we are looking at an economic cost of the lockdown of around $500 million to $1 billion per death.
One of my favourites.Hotel Garbi in PDB has announced that it will not open this year
True but that arithmetic doesn't include what would have happened if they didn't lock down. (Should divide cost by potential number of lives lost or ruined by long term health issues)It really seems like many people don't understand what's at stake.

I might actually cry if state of alarm returns before Friday (time off, beach, car everything already booked)

How is Brazil economy doing with no real lockdown? ?
Before and after Corona?
Brazil's GDP fell 1.5% in Q1. UK GDP fell by 5.8% in March alone, LOL.

Sweden might be a better example - although they will inevitably be f*cked by Europe.
Sweden unlikely to feel economic benefit of no-lockdown approach | Free to read
Analysts forecast that growth will contract at a similar rate to rest of Europewww.ft.com
"Early figures for Sweden’s gross domestic product in the first quarter of 2020, released this week, suggested that at least in March it had performed better than much of the EU as it recorded a decline of just 0.3 per cent, compared with a 3.8 per cent fall for the eurozone.
But economists argue that Sweden is unlikely in the long term to escape the severe economic pain of the rest of Europe. The European Commission forecasts that Sweden’s GDP will fall by 6.1 per cent this year."
Agreed.Unfortunately there will never be a true "apple to apples" comparison. Every major world economy would have been impacted by this regardless if they remained open or not, as their neighbors and trading partners economies shrank because of their own independent decisions.
I will be sad if they push back to earlier phases for ibizaConcerns me deeply.
