Right, but my point is nobody is stopping you from getting on the plane. You said you wouldn't be allowed to fly, which just isn't true - you aren't banned by the UK government (or anyone else) from flying anywhere. Flights are still flying, and you still have the freedom to fly anywhere you want, the limitation is only dependent on the arrival rules for other countries.

And not only that, but you would face no arrival quarantine across most of Europe from today - Portugal, Italy, Croatia etc. And in Spain on July 1st. So those arrival limitations are very soon to not be an issue at all.

So the big problem here for UK tourists from July is not going to be the airlines/a lack of flights, or other countries and their arrival quarantines. Instead its the UK government's quarantine on return policy.

And obviously thats only the UK tourists too - for EU people we can get into most places from tomorrow, and almost everywhere from July 1st, no problem.

Why would i get on a plane if i'm not going to be allowed entry at the other end?? If i got on an aircraft and flew to Spain today (in the incredibly unlikely event i would find one) i would be turned away at the border and sent back to the UK. That's an undeniable fact

Agreed. Even if we could get on a plane in July to Ibiza, as a UK citizen it looks like we would have to quarantine for 2 weeks on arrival...or that's the rhetoric currently.

Hopefully, on the 29th June, we will find out if the UK and Spain has a reciprocal agreement.

ibiza without clubbing there isn't . clubs without dancing there aren't . clubs only with tables are ridiculous.

while I agree on the second and third statement, as I had explained previously, it might be the only way for some of the venues to survive the period until the world hopefully has a solution to covid-19 (cure/vaccine). in most of the western european countries it's currently not looking like the goverments are willing to risk opening up big nightclubs and fill them with people on busy dancefloors.

we'll see what happens in today's meeting.

ps: ibiza without clubbing is beautiful, but only for a few months. ibiza without clubbing in summer is odd and the entire island will suffer from that, even the most extreme anti clubbing hardliners will very likely see that after this season.

To summup, they may not allow dancefloors in Ibiza
They are thinking to let big clubs opening at 33% capacity with tables on dancefloor, just as you attend to a Pop/Rock concert
Listening to dj mix in a big club, sitting on a chair, as a new offer to replace the offer "Raving in a club" ? such Pete Tong at Destino .

Not my thing i'll stick to Eat! Sleep! & Chill

Without Vaccine don't expect dancefloors as we may see in Swiss last Week

Not confirmed but it may happen like this.

as i had wrote from April 02 ... , i will travel for 7th in a row summer , i love the island. But without clubbing as we know all these years would be 40% less touristic and financial of course .
EXIT FESTIVAL will take part on August and some other festivals too, and from September the clubs and festivals have scheduled events again .

of course ibiza will notice it lots if the clubs stay shut - on almost all levels.

as for clubs reopening etc, I think germany will extend the 'no big events' until the end of october, I read something about that earlier today.

my personal interest is only really in whether the late music bars in the old town are classified separately to the major clubs or if there is a blanket law for anywhere with DJs? supposed to be attending a birthday at one in Sept but all still feels very much in the air

still not decided AFAIK. they did say it might only affect the big clubs, not the smaller venues.

i guess in bars you aren't allowed to dance but just gathering with friends (9 max?) and keep social distancing with other people
i saw many add about Opening (not parties) bars/restaurant/bakery with dj

I was wondering how it will works in san an bars in the Westend ? if they want to avoid mass gathering of drunk people that may forget social distancing with alcohol abuse
the gathering of people at bars in ibz harbor as their small terrace used to be very packed
