The Balearics' tourism counselor mentions it to the president of the Balearics' club association ---> Ibiza officially announces...

Great skills!
lol, yeah the tweet made me a bit upset.

Earlier he tweeted something along the lines of; it would be for the better if we skip this year and health is more important than their brand etc.
Now I get that...and while it sounds very noble, it's also some form of PR.
I think his translating "skills" are now just a form of confirmation bias. He still could be right....but he should just stay in his lane and let the government do the talking about official announcements.

Not counting the guys on here or following spotlight in general, some people still going to ibiza which hasn’t been cancelled believe they will turn up and it will be like it was just because a certain venue has an opening party, maybe that’s why the promoter/dj etc are tweeting contents like above...

On a brighter note, do you think we will all be like this once we get back to the clubs...btw its Irn Bru in they bottles ?

while not confirmed and thus certain yet, it's not looking good...
Yes, it's not looking good, but seems tomorrow or friday we will have more news and more information about this....

It seems somewhat unfair since other clubs are opening in Spain...
Once the state of alarm is over, and regional government forbid to open a business, I'm not a lawyer but we could be talking about big economic imdenizations to the clubs ...
whatever it is, the news has already been published and gives very bad promotion to ibiza

What Spanish clubs are opening in Spain? I am not aware of any... I live in Madrid and they are not opening any

to be honest, I was never as optimistic as you (judging by your posts).

in valencia the clubs also only open with a table system and no dancefloor for now...

About the seated tables in the club thing...in the Netherlands the current rules June 1st till July 1st are just really weird.

So...a concerthall or pop venue (this is what they call it) is able to open with 30 people on the dance floor. No facemasks, 1.5m is advised but as far as I can see on vids and pics no venue is enforcing this.

A club or discotheque however...cannot open unless they throw in some tables and you stay seated.

Now we have small concerthalls and pop venues (where people used to sit down and listen to a concert) placing a dj booth and having small raves/parties for 30 people and for 100 people from July 1st. And we have clubs and discotheques placing tables and chairs. ?

Gashouder will be sweet then with those bleachers

Haha yeah. But I'm affraid Gashouder is officially marked as 'event location' and then another different category of rules apply. I'm not making this shit up ;-)
shame those bleachers are massive aha I can't imagine anyone would make it up

elrowlovers denying that even this is final in 3...2...1.. :D
I'll still have my own elrow party on the island, no worries ?

Edit: I think it's really sad news though. It's gonna be really painful for a lot of people working int he industry. And we will never know if the measures were really necessary or if there was a compromise to be made by allowing some form of nightlife, outdoor events or whatever creative idea.
Anyway still going to Ibiza in four weeks and super excited for it.

We will see what happens with exit festival etc.. We will see how they handled the party and the aftermath of it... Outbreak of virus there etc

Exit festival Serbia...but also lots of parties in Croatia, Switzerland.
Too many different strategies. Some strategies in just one country alone (Netherlands by example) are contradictive, let alone Europe.
While I am continuing my Ibiza July trip, I might head to Croatia instead of Ibiza in September.
