Masks are great at giving people a false sense of safety.I've found Ibiza to feel MUCH safer than back home in Brighton.
Overall, most people in Ibiza are wearing masks when outside and observing social distancing. Yet in Brighton, I felt anxious as soon as I stepped outside my house, due to people not bothering with any of the guidelines.
Also, with regards to the masks, once seated at a table (in a bar, cafe or restaurant), you can take them off. It's only when walk in / out or going to the toilet that you are expected to wear it. Given that most countries now require masks to be worn, it hasn't been that much of an issue, especially as you don't wear them on the beach, by the pool or whilst exercising.
You just posted further up about how busy Salinas and PDB were, and you don't need masks on the beach.
