What's going to happen to SPACE after 2016?

I can't imagine there is club in Ibiza who would jump at the chance to hold the Elrow event, even its UK night at 338 sold out like lightening.

Despite Coxy says, I feel it is all down to loyalty to Pepe, his comments about Ushuiai are not exactly complementary, they will pick up on that, he obviously doesn't give a monkeys, he doesn't need the money and was talking last year about living/Promoting down under.

But no way will Space fall apart if he goes, nor do I think the Ushuiai group will ruin it if or when they take it over.

Loved the Wunderland story, but getting really bored of the Sneak beef.

Well, everyone kind of expecting an 'Ushuaia II'...
BUT: What if the Ushuaia guys come out with a really cool 'non-mainstream' concept for the venue?

Would you give it a try?

 o_O

... What if the Ushuaia guys come out with a really cool 'non-mainstream' concept for the venue? ...
are we talking about an "UNDERGROUND"-party ...

... let´s say as "underground" as ANTS  ;)

ps:
can´t believe they still had these annoying fools running around and molesting people
in fckng morphsuits ... in the year 2015 :spank:

I'll 100% be giving it a try, regardless. You won't know until you try these things...

I think what everybody needs to remember, is that even in the best case scenario - Space is irreplaceable.

Whilst it is not beyond the realm of possibility that one day whatever takes its place might reach the same status, these things don't happen overnight.

Space didn't just open its doors in 1989 and instantly become legendary. Nor did Amnesia, Pacha, Ku etc. These things take time.

I really can't see them doing anything but completely redesigning the venue from the bottom-up. Maybe I'm wrong.

Space is way past its heyday. It forfeited the cool crown to DC10 about 10 years ago. It is therefore replaceable. The question is whether there still is a market in PdB for house music. I'm not convinced there is. Chavs don't like or get house music. Ushaia are therefore a good fit.

Anyway, I guess the most logical step for them would be to serve their existing clientele and just milk them dry in their own locations all day - and now also night - long.

Look at me trying to take the piss when I was shamefully in the crowd at Ushuaia in September.

Praying to God the Blue ghosts had something in them and kicked in quick. The things you go through to please the wife

Honestly........

Said it earlier that Space hasn't been the same since the roof went on the terrace (and also the change in opening hours), what did they change in the old picture though, by the Space sign there appears to be some sort of roof where the Premier Etage is now, so what did they do there, knock a rook down in order to put one on?
