What is wrong with vests?????

Is it just me who thinks Dirk Bigler and numerous others are coming across as old miserable judgemental farts? Vest, snapback caps, nike/converse hightops and those haircuts etc are all on trend, young people follow trend. Doesn't make them pr*cks, and while some might be, its so narrow minded to generalise.

I can just imagine you stood in a club shaking your head at how they're dressed, meanwhile said kids are having the time of their lives!

I know who I'd rather be.

When you are a wee bit older you might get it.

Noticed about 80% of lads that were in ibiza had those really low cut baggy vests on

and the same haircut...and same footwear...and same baseball caps...and same t-shirts with aztec/tribal patterns

I'm not judgemental, but I can't help myself for thinking sheeple dressed as you describe look total pr*cks.

I'm sure the older folks used to think exactly the same about me as a teen when thinking I looked the bees knees dressed in my dangarees/ 22" flares / etc etc :lol:

It's unfair to call people sheeple for wearing fashionable clothes. I've always liked to wear music related t shirts and now they are in fashion I'm going to get called a sheep and jaded old gits will say to themselves 'as if she even knows who that band are, f***ing sheep' lol

i became a mod because i didn't want to be like everyone else

Nothing. Wear one if you want to wear one, although I'd generally keep them to daytime wandering around rather than for clubbing.

But about those phat pants... ;)

I don't see a problem with vest personally, however as I wear vest to the beach, it's not for me as I like to dress up when I go out in Ibiza. I like to dress to impress from 1pm - 7am as all day & early evening i'm in beach wear.

One thing I will say is that a bunch of those vest-and-cap wearing B-Boys were at Sankeys Viva Warriors opening and they were dancing amazingly, full of energy and joy, and were completely at home holding their own amongst all the older crowd there. Extremely polite and well-mannered and a positive asset to the club and the dancefloor. I've seen the same at 'closed' Art of Dark parties in London - amazing vibe..

Ok not the thread but can u give me a quick review on this night, i'm planning to go on the 29.08.12 or Be Space. But as I got Enter tickets I fancied a change as not been to Sankeys Ibiza yet. Thanks have a great day :D8)

What happened to that Ibiza where you could be (or in this case wear) whatever you wanted to be without worrying about being judged?
It doesn't matter what you wear but the person under those clothes always does.

Oh dear I almost forgot, I brought a load of vests for during the day, I got about six white & 3/4 black ones.. lol :lol:
