Really discovering the harsh realities of Brexit now. EU 'tourist' visas now last for 90 days and then that 'knock on the door' and you're out. And not just out of Spain, or even the EU but anywhere in the Schengen zone + EFTA states. So because she can't re-enter the US immediately after their 90 days w/o provoking suspicion and w/o any great desire to spend the entire interim in the UK we looked at the map and Gibraltar was the obv one UNTIL someone in Andalucia told me the Spanish don't stamp everyone crossing that border now which is too risky and would be useless to my gf, Andorra would be handy except there's no airport lol, so then we looked east, firstly to Cyprus but no direct flights and then the balkans, seemingly the only option and found somewhere to stay in Dubrovnik in May and then back to England for a few days. Such a palaver... having a few verdejos before booking certainly eases the pain...

Some exciting music booked over the next few weeks. The highlight being I-F @ Sala Upload on March 4 who I think musically and technically is outstanding. The way he effortlessly switches between italo, acid, techno and cosmic disco is amazing. A true teacher of his craft. One of the very best in the business. Also bagged tix for the BCN Psych Festival start of April, which promises a sonic showcase of psychedelic, drone and fuzz warfare. (my words not theirs). I get irritated at how gigs are always marketed now as festivals with wristbands, meaning you have to pay the full deal rather than being able to cherry pick. I guess the promoters and artists prefer that but it does get very expensive, especially if you never make it to day 2.

I posted a reply to a tweet on Twitter earlier and I have so far amassed 64 67 74 79 likes. Am I viral? I must be at least instafamous or something, right? I’ll just wait for all the influencers to get hold of me and then retire somewhere warm. It’s been nice knowing you losers 😉

I got over 2k on one last month, wasn’t even that good.

I moved house over the last two weekends. The weather did it's best to distrupt the process. The pavements were covered in either thick snow or ice, depends where we were in the cycle of storms and hurricanes. My surfboards had to be taken out in between gusts of wind.

This weekend I'm the weird position of having finished moving and sorting things out in my new home, and now I really don't have anything to do - other than get up to mischief online.

I'll hit the gym later this afternoon, then buy some more plane tickets, then dream of warm weather and islands in the Med.
