Summer properly arrived yesterday. An unusual dry heat for this area. They reckon mosquitoes are down 30% this year (no complaints but no rain either...)

Bought a whole load of camping gear for SW France Aug trip and booked the route featuring stops in Carbonne, Saint-Paul-lès-Dax, Poucharramet as well as Bellocq. Bay of Biscay completely sold out. Not one single pitch left in Biarritz! Border now requires vac certificate, PCR and sworn statement of no symptoms. Entry to Sp from F is now vac certificate only. I think!

No my Friend, if you're fully vaxxed (more than two weeks after the second jab), you don't need a test to enter in France.

It says 28 days for Janssen, 14 for the others. we had Janssen last Monday but on Aug 4 will still be within by 5 days. I hope the queue at la jonquera isn't too slow! Most people will be ok but am guessing every car will get stopped

The isolation game for this and next weekend 🥲
Just glad it’ll hopefully be done and dusted with time before our trip is booked.
