Not sure how to put this delicately, but I was bitten by something between my balls and inner leg. How it got there I've no idea, but for the final full day walking was a pain in the, well, there, even with cream and a plaster on (which came off in the sea, nats).
On the positive side, I always cut myself on at least one of my feet, usually a sharp rock or bit of glass, and his time managed to wear the aqua shoes all the time (helps against he very hot sand too) so avoided that this time.

Also a near mishap; got some fairly expensive px swim goggles which I managed to leave behind on the beach fencing in Formentera. Went back a couple of hours later and although the line had someone elses stuff draped over, the goggles were still there! Nice one.

I got one bite on my neck a couple of days in, but over the last 24 hours, they’ve gone mental. Think I have about 20 across my legs and back. f***ers
 
Flying out on the 11th looking not so good, Thunderstorms reported most of the days im over. Do these Usually hang around or pass over pretty quick on the island?
 
Okay.

All weather reports had constant cloud and rain for today. But we've had a good amount of sun.....


Basically don't panic.....

Yes and yes. Some days they come quickly and go quickly - really is a case of the sky's clear and half hour later it looks like a nuclear holocaust, comes down in buckets and then within an hour it's all hot and clear again. On other days the storms group together and it's bad (or fun if thunder and light is your thing!) for a full day.
Before you go out check www.sat24.com (click on HD) for the satellite image and you get an idea of what's in store. Of course, evne though it's now the stormy season, you can have clear weather for days on end.
Edit; looking at 1630 BST there's a heck of a lot of storms on their way from the west right now. Could take all night to clear once they hit.
*PS I'm not an official weatherman so don't sue if I'm wrong!!!
 
I buy 'skin so soft' from Avon for about £1 for my mozzie deterrent, its a dry oil for your skin but i never get bitten when ive applied it. Try it out
 
arriving on 16, staying for 10 days.. i usually sleep during the day but my girl like to get tanned, do you think the weather will be good?
 
Staying in Ibiza since Tuesday . To be honest weather is mixed since I arrived. It is raining cats and dogs today. Very late last night the same. Every day I had mix of sun and clouds. Visited last year in September in the same dates and weather was much much better.
 
So weather I’ve been told is horrendous. I’m out tomorrow so will try and bring the sun with me as it’s lovely back home.
