The footy !!

Real Madrid v TOTTENHAM
Barcelona v Shakhtar Donetsk

CHELSEA v MAN UTD
Inter Milan v Schalke 04

If (big IF) we make it past Man U, then I think we're in the final.
Real v Barca semi could be massive!

no doubt half of Catalonia will be googling "donde esta Shakhtar Donetsk?" right now

would've preferred to face Madrid in the final, the draw sucks for the romantics

An all-Spanish final isn't really very romantic.

A Man U v Barca rematch has a good storyline.

Or even Chelsea v Barca, given their 3 contentious meetings in the knock-out phase and one group stage pairing over the past few years.

madrid v barca - possibly the most famous club rivalry in the world - THE dream euro final

the only other tie with any glamour would be one of the spanish sides against Man Utd - which on paper is the most likely scenario, unless of course chelsea were to put a spaniard er spanner in the works

all the other permutations don't have the glamour - you can imagine the advertisers weeping if shalke were to face shakhtar

I think the interest would be low.

Agree to disagree on this one.

A Spanish v English final would have a better storyline. Battle of the world's two best leagues for supremacy. The sportswriters would have a ball.

I actually have a sneaky feeling that we're heading for a chelsea-madrid final

the inevitable next chapter in the mourinho story

Not happy...

Don't like Shaktar.. their style of play doesn't suit us.

One thing's certain, i'll be cheering on spurs.

Can't call it between Chelsea and Man Utd. Probs Chelsea just ahead because of the troubles Utd have at the back.

hang about, W T F is going on here. did someone forget to put man utd's ball on the radiator, was shaktar's ball not cold enough, did doris turn the radiator off, or this is just a plain old case of luck of the draw.

fergie can't be happy

i'm happy with the draw, cheap trip! ask me in a few weeks and i'll be a bag of nerves though.

my old man called me almost immediately the balls were pulled out (thankfully he doesn't make a habit of that), disappointed we didn't get barca as 'they haven't got enough up front to beat us'. i'm blue tinted, but i had to laugh.

More expensive trip for me (than Dontesk or Schalke)! Even if I can figure out a way to expense my plane tix, the missus will want to come :? Still, considering coming over for the home leg.
