The footy !!

it's only England anyway - who cares?

the only people who care about Ingerlund are provincial numpties whose own football clubs are too crap for international competition

i don't care, but i do seeing such pathetic behaviour.

get a grip wayne, possibly the worst ever player to make an international career for himself, after phil neville.

king of the 20 yd run/getting a throw in!!

I haven't supported England since like 1989 and that was only cos one of our players (Lineker) was in the side.

why waste emotional capital on a bunch of greedy, violent, arrogant, disloyal, dysfunctional, illiterate, mutant arsewipes with which I wouldn't even wipe my arse

and as for these "part-time fans" riding around with flags flying from the back of their volvos, they can do one n all

whatever you say...Ignatious!!!

You being racist ;)

that abe thing is a joke and not a joke at the same time. mostly because of the media in england. nothing personal against the english in general.

I'm pretty sure if england won the world cup i'd have to throw my tv and radio out forever.. and probably be very selective on where i went on-line.

I mean ffs we're still hearing about bloody '66. Any time world cup football or even the euros are mentioned it's brought up. I'm pretty certain i even heard it reffered to in the rugby world cup commentary once. That's just ridiciulous. The quicker the english media accept that their team are under-achievers and stop clinging onto (very) former glories the better.

Net rumours elsewhere are that Bridge is convinced it began before he split with his child's mother..........

In that case you cant blame him for not wanting to ruin the dressing room Karma
At some point in the campaign he would defo want to do a two footed tackle in training, or a nice wedgy in the changing rooms 8O

I'm not suprised he's drawn that conclusion.

I think he realises that he'll regret not going to the world cup, but knows that the spotlight will be on him and Terry so much that it would compromise his performance and he'll soon lose the patience of the fans if he's **** at the world cup.

If he thinks this will be inevitable then perhaps he's being wise to opt out now and retain his dignity.

But I still can't believe he hasn't given Terry a black eye yet. Surely this would make him feel better? Terry in all the papers with a fat shiner, it would do Bridge the power of good, and probably terry too as it would seem that justice had prevailed and everyone can move on.

I read an article on Terry by Robert Crampton in the Times which was really good and very balanced. It basically said, he's fundamentally not bad, just thick as ****.

Ashley Cole is thick as English chips. I honestly believe he just has no clue what he's doing.

John is actually slightly smarter... I think he's just far too delusional.
